Coach can go nap. Has line changes set to auto. Standard 4 line roll out. No one gets more than anyone else.

Man Smiths played great. After all the question marks about him starting game one if he can finish the last 10 minutes and get the shutout it will be a great story.

Flames putting on an absolute clinic right now, with Smith leading the way. Team is looking dangerous every time they have the puck.

I’m good with our 4th line against anyone.

Right? Their 1c has been fast and dangerous all night. Monahan doesn't look engaged at all. Lindholm and Gaudreau have had good compete all night which is what has saved that line.

If I had any video editing skills whatsoever, I'd love to do a side-by-side of Smith's glove saves from tonight and Vernon's from game 7 against the Canucks in 89. I've definitely seen that falling back, lying on the ice with the outstretched glove-hand move before...

Grubauer has stood tall for the Avs tonight as well. Can't discount the saves he's made either. This could have turned into a laugher in the second.

The only thing that would make this more fun is if Jim Ross had the call on Smith's saves.

That's my take as well. Doing what they have to do to "pass" game one. But they certainly have it in them to do it much more convincingly.

And another great save. Poetry.

And he took it so professionally too
Said something like " Fans pay the bills and have the right to boo me when im not playing well"
Awesome guy

Not a good pass there by Backs, gotta be smarter and manage the puck better but, no reason to go up the middle there.
