NBC news is saying Pence won't go to the Wisconsin rally today now.
Trump on Chaffetz: Chaffetz should spend the same energy going after [HRC] as he does going after the person who won the primary with a record vote.

I wonder if Ryan told him he wasn't welcome? Or if Pence is having second thoughts?
Rational brain is telling me that this is simply Ryan distancing himself and politely asking them to come up with a reason

I don't think it plays well. At this point the "He's the evil candidate" has reached it's peak. I'd stick to issues and Trump's terrible policies. Let the media run with this one

Hillary surely knows an audience question will be about this now, so she just needs to sit back and wait for it. Don't go all Kaine and force, force, force on the same thing. Town Hall obviously has huge disaster potential for Trump.

I think this is the bait for trump to bring up Bill's sordid history.
He hinted at it in the previous debate but obviously his handlers convinced him it would be suicide.
Trump can't resist a baited trap though and this one is perfect.

Yeah, that should 100% be the strategy, especially given the town-hall format. Let Trump twist, absolutely desperate to get out some attacks on Bill, and don't give him an opening. Eventually he's going to burst, and when some young woman asks him about her college debt, he's going to respond with how she should really be terrified of the 42nd President sneaking into her bedroom in the middle of the night.
Clinton is solid at town-hall formats; she can relate to someone, show she understands their side of it, show her own deep knowledge on the topic, and then pivot to her narrative. Trump at the best of times has a hard time relating, or showing an understanding of remotely obscure topics, and he's just going to try to pivot hard to attacking Clinton personally on every issue, and it's going to look absolutely awful for him.

If he still resists she can easily use this to bait him into it with even the mildest of statements about his history of this behaviour. If it were me, I'd do it, then make the point that, "look how easy he was to manipulate. He didn't want to go there, his handlers told him it would hurt him, and all I had to say was that to get him completely off his plan. This guy cannot be across the table from world leaders with interests that diverge from ours."

Very interesting discussions now on CNN about the republicans officially pulling their support, I suppose that would make him an independent. The big republican money has been mainly funding senate races anyway.
This is unprecedented and fascinating.

It won't happen. It would be unbelievably entertaining, but I actually think the Republican party is salvageable. This would make salvaging it a much tougher project.

Reince has shown no spine at all this election so I doubt the GOP pulls their support formally, they'll just redirect resources to senate races if anything. But it all hinges on tomorrow, if he's a mess again he'll be seeing endorsements renounced a lot more frequently.

It's the Ray Rice Syndrome.
Rice had been suspended 2 games after admitting he punched his wife in the face in an elevator which knocked her out and had him indicted for assault charges.
6 months later an actual video of the incident is released and all of a sudden he has his contract terminated by his team and is then suspended indefinately by the NFL.
What changed? Nothing other than the fact that people now saw what happened instead of hearing/reading about it.
It's a really odd thing that happens when actually seeing things/facts as opposed to just knowing them.

Meh, don't care either way who wins but Trump has stuck his foot in his mouth, politically speaking, so often, over the past years, that I don't think something like that would be suicide. Cameras caught him on tape saying ##### for goodness sakes, so no matter the context, him talking about chats him and Bill Clinton had won't be any more damaging than that. It won't help him to go down that path and say that the former president was just as lewd in private chats as he is (and he's the husband of the other candidate of course, so what does that say) , but it probably won't hurt him at this point either.Press keeps trying to sensationalize each and everything they he's done and turn it against him,but the support numbers are still there.
Not a normal election, not a normal candidate, and his bluntness and faults may be more relateable to many then Clinton as a robotic, manufactured product of the political system over the past 3 decades. And votes going his way are more for complete lack of trust in Clinton then it is in him and he seems to have said as much in the article above.
Sad all around.

Every single @realDonaldTrump hotel and golf course is toast. Done. Over. Bernie Madoff now has a better brand.

Donald Trump's actions have made any Trump emp who doesn't quit immediately, toxic and unemployable by anyone else. Expect a mass exodus.
No idea how to properly cite a tweet.

It was indefensible to begin with like all violent crimes.
Seeing it on video stokes peoples emotions more than just knowing what happened though.
I just find it odd is all.

Good comparison.
Pictures, audio and especially videos make things real for people. Even things they've already kind of know.
Plus of course there's a difference between someone sounding like a potential harasser and actually being one. Even though I (and probably many others) happen to believe that people who talk a certain way also act like it, that's not proof.

or Wideman's messages.
