Barcelona have really been poor the last few weeks. So this is an "upset", but really Atletico has looked like the better team for a few weeks now.

horrible night for the referees though. Bayern can have no complaints with Kuipers, who somehow failed to send off Javi Martinez amongst other things ... and Rizzoli should have sent off Iniesta as well before making the decisive free kick/penalty mistake in the end.

Atletico should be favorites now. Simeone is simply outstanding - I can easily see him dismantle Peps Bayern as well.

naw I want to see Real-Atletico in the final again, with the decisive Atletico goal coming in injury time. Payback for 2014.

actually, I don't really care. I dislike three of the four semifinalists, so as long as Atletico win, it's all good

Not exactly the ideal start. A mountain to climb now.

This is pretty much how I expected the first leg to go. Hopefully this shows Klopp and the guys that sign the cheques how much work is yet to be done with this team.

The goals are flying in. Still a glimmer of hope for Liverpool.

Pelligrini goes insane?

If nothing else you have to admire the amount of fire Klopp brings. These guys hauled this tie out of the ashes of an ass kicking.
