My guess is he makes his debut in Calgary against Arizona on Tuesday. That'll give him some time to wind down the year in Kingston and fly to Calgary on Saturday or Sunday. Plus, that would let him make his NHL debut on home ice.

Only if he plays 10 or more NHL games -- which would pretty much mean the second round of the playoffs, so I don't think anyone will complain.

Bennett went around the defenseman beside the net and, starting to fall, tried to throw it out front. Somehow it found its way through the goalie and into the net.
Just good effort.
Edit: may have been tipped by the defenseman

Bennett can play in the NHL for up to 9 games, regular season or playoffs, but if he hits 10 total NHL games either way this year, a year will be burned off his ELC.

After the Crouse hit, there was a bit of a gathering. Several people got tossed, including Bennett (though the announcers had no idea why). Even though they got tossed, he and the other guys waited until it ended and came back out for the handshake and to salute the crowd.
The announcers were talking about how awesome and exciting it was after he rejoined the team, and how much the season changed.
Then they starting talking about the 2014 draft and both felt strongly that, with all due respect to Ekblad's season so far, in 5 year's time, Bennett will be looked at as the best player in the draft. Obviously they have a home town bias. But the point is: the kid is good at the hockey.
