Not sure what the point is though, is anyone on the Kings going to care about a fight between McGrattan-Nolan or Clifford-Jackman? Are the Kings going to be worried about facing the Flames top 9 based on those fights?

The reason in 04 that it may work was it was the actual guys you were going to face and a tough team overall. Having guys like Iginla, Regehr, Warriner and even Simon send the message and then having them playing a big amount of minutes might make you think twice.

McGrattan fighting Nolan isn't going to make Carter, Kopitar, Brown, Doughty care about having to face Hudler, Cammy, Tanguay, Backlund, Wideman etc.

the HNIC guys are talking about the sinking ship that is the flames, what i found surprising was them talking about all the people in the dressing room after games, 2 owners, the president of the team, vp of this and that.. just seems like too many guys especially owners hanging around... that is never a recipe for success

Kings fans are a great bunch and the Staples center is amazing.

It isn't even close to how much better Kings fans are than Flame fans at the Saddledome. Much more passionate and loud than the library at the
Dome.

Can you really blame them though? We've had next to nothing to cheer about the past few years.
