Well... St. Pete's is pretty nice. But yeah playing in front of no fans kind of sucks.
Regardless he could be playing in Russia for all I care now, just hope the Jays got a good return

Across the dugout! That has to be an odd dynamic for the players.

He's come back out into the Jays dugout and is hanging out there, pretty funny. A few larger outlets are reporting formally now. Sherman says he has to pass a physical first.

Funny how often players are traded to teams they’re playing.
Sogard was a fantastic surprise this year. Hopefully he can keep it up and get a nice contract out of it.

Usually wrong with these things so I am going to pat myself on the back.

There’s always talks about how to speed up baseball games. Watching Chirinos pitch today is definitely not helping. My god he is slow. I wish they had a pitch clock for him.

Isn't this what Rogers typically does, though? They don't extend guys that the fans love and leak rumours that they're working at it and then "aw shucks, it didn't work out, but we tried!".

Vladdy is absolutely on fire. 3 for 4 today with 4 RBIs now. After the home run and 3 RBI yesterday.

Phelps giving up that home run to Guillermo fricken Heredia was embarrassing.

Mets fans are worried about two prospects being dealt, and thats Simeon Woods and Kay. I don't know much about their system, but it's safe to say that if we don't hear either of those two names, then it's a bad trade for the Jays.

Well we got both of them. Good trade then?

Hope Stro does great in NY. The guy absolutely loved T.O. and Canada. Going to miss having a good player that was so passionate about staying with the Jays.

Just like on the trading day of Pillar, the executive try to placate the masses by swerving the media and trying to avoid terrible optics of trading fan favourites that wanted to be in Toronto, by calling up a prospect.
Good for Stroman to call the management out through the process, wkth the nonexistent contract talks and other BS that GMs can't get away with in 2019 that they could in 2005.
Like to hear the justification for trading Stroman is.
