Reading that Kenny Lawler will be back for the Bombers this week as his immigration issues (work visa) have been settled.

Bombers seems like they are doing some salary cap gymnastics.

Is Dane Evans hurt?
How do we get so much terrible QB play and now guys with zero experience getting starts and he still doesn't get a minute of game time.
Am I missing something with him?

I know that but I would have thought teams would be inquiring about trading for him or that someone (cough Calgary cough) would have given him a better chance in the off-season.

I'm sure the Lions seeing the rash of injuries to QBs are hesitant to trade him.. the ransom required would be pretty large. Just my thoughts though.

You are likely right, no reason for the Lions to rush to move him.
I am just shocked that was the best spot he thought he should go in the off-season, maybe still focused too much on that.

Tracey Ham, Dunigan, and Kevin Glenn are next calls.
Love it how the Eslks have their hands tied by the CFL coaches salary cap for bringing in Jones and his motorbike for too much money.

One wonders how prohibitive the admin cap really is given how many teams exceed the salary cap.

Just like our roster our coaching staff has been raided by the rest of the CFL as well.
I think it might have more teeth than the player cap.

To put those numbers into perspective, the USFL gets comparable TV ratings in the US market.
