It can't be genocide if you play the anti-semite card. Those are the rules.

Another rule. You can't accuse someone of using human shields if they don't recognize the individual they're using as a shield to be human.

I am looking forward to when these conflicts are over and we can discuss peace talks between all parties. Sadly, I don’t know when that will happen.

It will happen when enough people from both sides are interested in peace. Sadly, neither side is interested at the moment.

Genocide:
Murdering 6 millions of Jews, which is two-thirds of the European Jewish population, mostly through mass shootings and gas rooms. It's also important that genocide, particularly in Poland, happened on conquered territories, rather than during the actual fighting. Nazis killed two thirds of European Jews over four years, which means that they were merely two years away from reaching their official goal of killing all European Jews. This is what ethnic cleansing is:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Holocaust
In Gaza, even if you believe Hamas' figures, 42 thousands died, which constitutes under 2% of the population, mostly from bombings.
What's going on there is a war. Anyone who calls it genocide has no idea what the word means.
What's happening is much more similar to US bombings of Japan
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_raids_on_Japan
241,000–900,000 killed
213,000–1,300,000 wounded
8,500,000 rendered homeless
Very heavy damage to industry
Extensive damage to urban areas
Interesting:
Quote:
Initial attempts to target industrial facilities using high-altitude daylight "precision" bombing were largely ineffective. From February 1945, the bombers switched to low-altitude night firebombing against urban areas as much of the manufacturing process was carried out in small workshops and private homes: this approach resulted in large-scale urban damage and high civilian casualties
|
And that was with Japanese army wearing uniform and having army infrastructure separated and marked. Hamas has neither, which is a war crime.
Now if after Japanese surrender, US would kill two thirds of them in gas rooms, that would be genocide.

This is what you get when you try to destroy a neighbor's state. Palestinians can't move to safety, because nobody wants to accept Palestinian refugees. Which is a stark contrast with Ukrainians and even Syrians. Turkey alone hosts 3.5 millions of Syrian refugees. That's more than whole population of Gaza strip. There are 145K Syrian refugees in Egypt, which is right next to Gaza. But nobody wants anything to do with Gazans. Why?

I mean Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon all have substantial refugee camps. Even Egypt has had over 100k refugees cross the boarder. Canada is taking in about 5000.
You are grossly over-simplifying or perhaps intentionally misleading people with your post. Be better.

Those are camps for the refugees from previous years, not from the current Israel - Gaza war. Some 100K Gazans have managed to flee to Egypt, but Egypt did not accept them, they are illegals there:

Yes so grossly over simplifying perhaps with an intent to mislead. Now do the international countries that have taken Gazans in.

Yeah. As if we're going to be take your sick, twisted, hateful, warped bloodthirsty mind as some sort of rationale expert viewpoint.
You're nothing more than a genocide apologist. That is simply who and what you are.

To be fair to Pointman, you have to value those human lives in order for it to be genocide. He's already established his racist bona fides so he wins this argument.
Sorry guys.

Gallant’s firing is bad news for those who want hostages released or any path towards peace. It’s Bibi moving further into an expansionist Israel. With Trump winning as well we also likely see a decrease in US criticism.
I suspect we see a occupation of Gaza and the West Bank with more and more annexation of territory over the next 2 years leading into the Israel elections

Member when posters here thought Hamas was the reason they couldn't negotiate a deal? Ya, good times.
