Might be morbid I guess, but something satisfying about watching russian scumbag rapist invaders getting blown to pieces and probably ####ting their pants in fear for the last 30 or so seconds of their lives knowing that they are about to get blown to pieces.

I was going to say that the most logical thing to do would be to follow your own tank tracks back the way you came....but maybe that wasn't an option.
Apparently, the stories about the Soviet soldiers being forced to walk arm in arm across a mine field are likely old wives' tales, but maybe Putin and his thugs (the Wagner Group) are actually putting that into practice.

Sorry, this is related to the war on a tangent as it shows Russia's overall regional intentions, regarding the alleged Russian plot to overthrow the Moldovan government. The Moldovan president said that would be saboteurs from Belarus, Russia, Montenegro, and Serbia were going to enter the country to incite revolts.

Personally, I think China is bluffing and just want to flex their muscles to take attention away from their recent shaming. I think they like the idea of the West getting tied up with Russia and are more than happy to watch from the sidelines. While the claim to be friends with Russia, they also have a power rivalry in Asia and they probably wouldn't mind capitalizing on a power vacuum from a Russian collapse, particularly in central Asia. I just don't see them wanting to waste their money and resources on this. The biggest threat from China I think would be if they moved on Taiwan however.
