Bouchard is hilarious that entire shift. Crosschecks someone at centre ice to give up a 2 on 1. Casually back in to the zone the puck goes by him towards circle, circle around (instead of stopping), shot goes by him, spins around, misses rebound and then the Panther shoots it by his half ass attempted block.
Its the goalies fault though

Damned goalies! Always letting the pucks in!
I mean, they're not helping but if its a complete Circus in your own zone its gonna happen.

On the radio today Anthony Stewart was speaking as if the Oilers season was dependant on a goalie trade.

How has this escaped notice?
It seems almost unbelievable to me that Dave Gagner could have the inside track to be Holland's replacement, but now I want more than anything for this to happen.
If you don't know, former NHL player Dave Gagner is also Sam Gagner's dad. Since retiring, he spent two years as an assistant coach for the London Knights, and then he went to work in player development for the Vancouver Canucks between 2008–13. After leaving Vancouver, he ended up working for the Orr Hockey Group—the same agency that represents McDavid.
I would ordinarily not think that this is very likely, but given what has transpired over the past year with McHobo's former agent Jeff Jackson in charge, given that he was a close associate of Gagner's at the he Orr Group for several years, and given that he just hired a head coach with McDumbass connections that he is also very close to I am starting to think that this could be an amazing possibility.
Please, let this happen.

The Sharks lost 11 games in a row to start the season.
The Oilers are 4 pts ahead of them.

May be next will be giving McDiver's parents a 5% shares of ownership to the Oilers to entice him to re-sign with the team.

Whatever happened to Duncan Keith's role with the Oilers? A quick google is all articles from 2022 about them bringing him on as a player development something something. What a complete farce of a cap circumvention that was. Such a sleaze ball organization. They were probably lining up to offer Connor Brown the same deal but before the 3.5 million dollar wire transfer from the Katz family hit his bank account the NHL probably stepped in and said fool me once...
