A trade for Jackson maybe, but the roster as is isn't going to stretch a defense at all. Even then it depends on what Jackson brings, who knows what he's been up to all off-season. WR's like Moss that can really force a defense to adjust to them aren't all that common, the majority of teams in the league do not have a WR that garners double coverage and stretches a defense like that.

I knew Simmons (Whitlock as well) would have a great take on this:
http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2...8&sportCat=nfl
When the Patriots dumped Moss this week, I had multiple readers compare it to cutting ties with a crazy hot girl. Jason Whitlock went there as well in his FoxSports.com column:
- "Moss is the unstable, super-hot girl you never marry. You tell her what she needs to hear, you might even give her the code to your garage door but you never commit. You enjoy the ride while it lasts and you move on without any hard feelings."

As much as I hate Favre. This is a little ridiculous.
Tiger has started something that will force all athletes to think hard before they show their faces in public.

Yeah, I feel bad for his wife. She's had a hard go of it with having breast cancer, sticking with him during the vicodin days, etc.

I need some real evidence. It's not hard to mask phone calls and its not hard to talk like Favre, plus there is voice sotware out there you can get. This may or may not be him but I need some real evidence prior to thinking we've got another Tiger in the making.

What I wonder about is why she would stay quiet about it till now if it's true? A couple years later, and you happen to decided to pick the time Favre vs. the Jets.

Considering that one of the calls references the "garbage can" line that the girl apparently told Favre's wing-man (or whatever you want to call him), I'd say that the chances of the calls being an impostor are pretty slim.

Her fifteen minutes from her Playboy spread was up and she needed a boost in her "look at how hot I am " career.

I now know what Brett Favre's flacid penis looks like. Or someone's penis who was pretending to be Favre. Either way I don't think I needed to see that.

Except she is adamant that she has nothing to do with this, and Deadspin is getting their information from a third party.

Not that I care, even as a Seahawks fan...Branch is chewing up a fair bit of cap, and has had limited playing time and even more limited effectiveness since SEA gave up a first rounder for him 3 years ago...3 knee surgeries since then.
Still a decent receiver, but no longer the star that the previous SEA management hoped he'd turn into.
Not that Seattle needs to lose a decent receiver, but its been Carroll/Schneider record full 5 days since Seattle's made its last roster move, and Carroll finds players somewhere, so I can see this happening for a 4th ish round draft pick.

Here is the GB MASH unit....and its brutal.
RB Quinn Johnson Out - Leg
RB James Starks (R) Out - Hamstring
DE Cullen Jenkins Prob - Hand
DE Johnny Jolly Sus - Suspension
LB Nick Barnett Out - Wrist
LB Brandon Chillar Out - Shoulder
CB Al Harris Out - Knee
CB Sam Shields (R) Out - Calf
S Atari Bigby Out - Ankle
For some reason they left justin harrell off this list as well, a starter in Gmae 1 this year.
that is SIX starters out from the club (sans Harrell)that finished last year as one of the best D's statistically. Shields was the replacement for Harris.
A patchwork (at best) secondary, a non-existant running game, trouble stopping the rush game.
If I could in good conscience bet against them today, I certainly would. I think the Skins roll em....unless Rodgers can hang 40 on that Skins D.

And that's the thing....that offense is capable (or should be) of winning games by themselves. At some point, they are going to get that thing rolling.

Chiefs @ Colts begins now......I have no idea what I should expect. KC is a solid football team and Indy's defense hasn't been good this year. On top of that some key injuries on defense as Bullitt is out for the year (and Sanders was already gone for a few months).
Charles/Jones probably will cause some big problems. Garcon is back today for Indy so Peyton just has to keep the offense rolling.
Wouldn't be surprised if this came down to late in the 4th quarter.
