How about the referee waving the goal off immediately? Embarrassing! There was nothing else that could have happened there. I’ll give him the benefit due to the clock however with the nhl’s noted video problems, it’s shocking that it might have been called off or the video would be “unavailable”.

The Knob Gobbler is not much of a strategist. Why announce Pickard out right now? Let Vegas prepare for either goalie right up until the game. I guess it doesn’t matter much what goalie is in the Coiler net when you have “Drai” tipping pucks at you.

Because if the coach doesn't comply to the local media and thus the fans desire for their pound of flesh and assigning singular blame as they already have determined, however irrational, he's suddenly the problem and rumors are started about him.
No team has to prepare for the Oilers goalies or team defense, it's the other end of the ice and transition that causes opponents the problems.

What was also outstanding was after probably the third replay HOF play-by-play guy Jack Michaels stated something like 'that may have been in and it might even count'.

What does it matter if Knob announce it's going to be Pickard in next game? Every body including my neighbour's puppy knows there's no way in hell or heaven he's going to play Skinner after last night's game. And there's no way he's going to play that third guy.
