Anyway, hopefully they blossom.

Who isn't Buck high on?

IMO, the reasons that the Jays are in constant trouble with their bullpen arms are:
1) the pitchers aren't throwing enough strikes
2) the catchers aren't calling for enough fastballs
3) Montoyo has been quick with the hook all year
My question today: wtf would Montoyo pull Merryweather after 5 batters?

A bit erratic but Merryweather's stuff was pretty awesome. Can see why they liked him in that trade.
Now just stay healthy....

Aight, time to walk them off before the gimmicky extra innings start.

Wow that is surprising news. I wonder if he gets picked up on waivers? Part of me hopes he can stick around the Jays organization as I like rooting for him.

I hope not, but Buck seemed to think he might get claimed.

Woof. Tough outing for Thornton. Some bad luck definitely played into it but he just didn’t seem to have it.

So with Alford gone apparently Teoscar Hernandez is the longest tenured Blue Jay now. As far as guys who have been with the Jays organization the longest during my very quick research I think it might be Borucki. Longest tenured Jay employee that I can think of might be Pete Walker.
