The running game is keeping them off the field. They look so much fresher this year. Plus the dbacks are really playing well considering they have virtually no pass rush. Linebackers are making some plays as well. Loving that they aren't falling apart in the 4th because they are dead tired from having been on the field to much during the game. Zeke and the O-line helping in more ways than just moving the ball.

Osweiler is bad, as long as their are teams who have a history of bad QB's, there will always be a market for guys like Osweiler. its early but this guy isnt the answer.

But the notion it will slow down the game (as if that's even possible in the NFL with multiple instances of 6 minutes of commercials for 10 seconds of gameplay) is off base. It'll be part of the regular challenge system, so at most it's 4 interruptions a game more (at no more than 90 seconds each), and I doubt we see reckless challenging of penalties. Timeouts and regular challenges are too important in the NFL to just take a chance everytime there's a possible big play
But PI is unique as a spot foul. I honestly think if it were a 15 yard penalty (as I believe it should be) they would have thrown the flag against Sherman because it gives Atlanta a first down, but doesn't put them into FG range. As a spot foul, that flag automatically puts Atlanta in FG range. As long as PI is going to be a spot foul, I think it should be challengable. It's too big a penalty to not be scrutinized.

I'm surprised Gore isn't getting the ball more. I thought he would be much more significant tonight. Also, I need 9 more points from him tonight to win my fantasy match up. This is killing me.

Colts deserve to lose based on the idiotic decision to go for it on 4th down by Pagano when they were up 13-9. Just stupid. On the road you take the points. That was a chip shot and you have Vinatieri for goodness sake. Its an automatic 3 points.
Happy for Brock. Hope things continue to get better for him, but it is not going to be fun for him Monday night in Denver I am afraid.

Reports out that Roethlisberger has a torn miniscus in his knee and will have surgery. Thats the thing with Pittsburgh, its always a case of when will Ben get injured, not if.

Brock with a huge 4th quarter to hopefully get some confidence back even if it was vs. the Colts. His windup is still a problem and his accuracy in inconsistent. But what a game.

I definitely don't like the idea of challenging penalties as there are too many reviews in the NFL as is and the missed calls tend to even out anyways. In this case they evened out on the same play as Julio got away with hands to the face on Sherman and the left guard got away with a hold/takedown on Marsh.

I didn't say challenging all penalties, just PI. Again it's unique, obviously no one has the arm strength for this but it can conceivably be a 98 yard penalty. It's far too big a penalty to not review

So i decided to simply stop following the dolphins this weekend.
Of course, they go out and play the best game of their year and beat the steelers.

Honest question, do you watch the CFL? The PI challenges this year have made the game borderline unwatchable.

I don't really, when its on at the gym or whatever but I don't really seek it out. So I guess you'll have to lay out what makes it unwatchable.

The CFL has been borderline unwatchable for the better part of two decades now. I used to watch every Stamps game of the year. Now I couldn't name more than one or two players and that's only because I see their names on the ticker.

The only upside to this season for the Jets is at least they didn't give Fitz a long term deal. When they do get really eliminated gotta think we'll see one of their other QBs to at least see what they got.

They already know Geno has nothing to offer. Who else do they have on the roster?
