There was also a tweet from PG right after Game 7 where he said Thanks Toronto and Saying how he would be down with playing in Toronto with DD. So even though to us fans he has been trash other players think he is good or something...I don't know.

Derozan was bad this game but Lowry was even worse. If he is so hurt that he can't even initiate contact then he shouldn't be playing. If he isn't hurt but he is playing like this then they need to bench him.

The "stars" just havent showed up. Lowry needs to be A LOT better. Derozen I have no hope for him, how you turn the ball over in that situation?

I think Heat will take this in 5 maybe 6.

I keep hearing people say this. Bench Lowry. Bench DeRozan.

How far is this team going with those two on the bench? Powell has looked good, but is he going to pick up the scoring slack if he goes against the oppositions best defender? Highly unlikely.

Our only chance at a deep run is if Lowry and DeRozan start to play like they did all throughout the regular season, and the only way that happens is if they keep playing through their struggles.

The good news is that our two best players have played like dog poo all playoffs and yet we are in round two in a very winnable series.

There's no slack to pick up. If they can just get someone out there to play mediocre defence and hit an average amount of field goals, it's an upgrade on these two guys. Like Barkley said, Joseph should be getting Lowry's minutes at this point.

This team isn't going a long playoff run regardless if Lowry and Derozan hit their strides. They have no chance against Cleveland. None.

Well making the conference finals technically constitutes a deep run, even if the Raptors are likely to get run out of the gym against Cleveland. Miami is a pretty mediocre team, so this is a series the Raps should win playing at full potential. Unfortunately very few guys appear to be playing well enough to win more than a single game in this series.

Gameday

Has everyone given up? taking a wait and see approach? Been quiet in here.

Pretty close to a must win tonight. No idea what to expect anymore but I really hope Kyle comes out with fire in his eyes tonight, win or lose. I think the rest of the team responds accordingly if we see some flashes of Lowry's bulldog mentality tonight.

They've done well in their 'must-win' situations of game 2, 5, and 7 last series, so I'm optimistic that they can find their form tonight. But it just feels like their top gear in the playoffs is about a 7 compared to their regular season top gear that they showed against other contending teams. I think they've got the pieces to still win this, but they don't seem to know the right formula to mix those pieces together. Ross finally waking up was a plus and he's streaky, so hopefully this is the beginning of a good streak.

Yeah no given up yet, just so far they've done little to inspire much confidence we'll see a great performance. Hopefully tonight they finally put forth a complete game and we can rest easy in the 4th quarter.

They need a dominant performance here to have any chance.

I don't know if these guys actually have a second gear intensity wise but if they do it better be on display for the whole of the second half.

I haven't been able to watch, saw the score but how are we looking? Judging by the thread I guess many aren't watching tonight?

9 for 27 from DD and KL.

Rest of team is 14 for 30. Carroll is 7 for 10.

This is embarassing that the coach is letting the 2 guards jack up shot after shot without telling them to pass the #$*&(*&#@#$ ball

Just one game this postseason I'd like to see Lowry and DeRozan both shoot in the 40% range and not in the low 30% range. Honestly at this point there cannot be any harm in benching either or both of them. 33% shooting is below replacement level, basically Delon Wright or James Johnson couldn't be worse just from a pure statistical perspective.

More than anyone, I hate hate hate seeing Ross getting playing time. I don't care how many points he gets this game, the guy is terribly inconsistent and provides nothing. I have no idea why the hell he's being played so much.

Refs are going to make sure they are done. That and the fact they have to be the crappiest 2nd seed of all time.
