Rain appears over (for now), action will resume shortly barely into the first set in both matches.

Genie is through in straight sets 6-3, 6-4. Milos up two sets and having probably his greatest serving day ever, 28 aces, 42 winner, 5 errors and is winning 96% of his first serve points (50/52).
Edit: And Serena is in deep trouble down a break in the 3rd.

Commontators saying that they cannot recall serving stas like Milos has had thus far in the tourney.
Apparently he has not only not been broken thus far, he has only offered 1 break point in totalt and is almost through the third round

Bouchard-Cornet it is. Imagine that at the French Open?

Milos is through 7-6 (2), 7-6 (4), 6-2. Nishikori in a bit of trouble so his draw might open up to get to the Quarters.

Powerplay Quarterback

For my own selfish male reasons I want to see a Bouchard/Wozniacki final. Such lovely ladies, good players, and relatively quiet to boot. Plus I think Genie can beat Caroline.

Nishikori has to come back and continue MONDAY. 3-3 in the 5th. That's insane.

Sunday is considered a rest/off day, right? Is it in the rules that it can't be used as a makeup day due to bad weather?

It can be used only if it's a full schedule. But that's pretty dumb cause now Milos is delayed due to a different match.

He doesn't play tomorrow cause Nishikori-Bollelli has to finish.
So now Milos has to go Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday. To make it fair, Nadal and Federer is also pushed back to Tuesday. Wavrinka and Isner haven't even started, they may have to play three days in a row.
So because Wimbledon can't continue some matches already in the 5th set on a Sunday. It's going to affect the entire bottom half.
Here's the article:

Isn't that ######ed?

After the unrelenting dumbness of the USO's three day first round and Super Saturday/Championship Monday, and the AO forcing players to be on courts with melting water bottles, Wimbledon didn't want to be left out of the stupidfest.

Wonder how much of an advantage Cornet will have since she's played under the roof before.

Don't forget the idiocy of running three Sundays at Roland Garros.
