That's the biggest choke job I've ever seen. Yes I think the Leafs got boned by the none call I've been harping about, but you have to rise above that and stay focused. The entire team when into deer in the headlights mode after Boston scored their 2nd goal. Unbelievable.
It sorta reminds me of when Vancouver was planning the parade route when they were up 2 games to Boston. Guess what, you play hard until you actually win, not when you think you've won.

I think Phaneuf was injured when the puck hit him on the inside of his knee.
I was making posts like the game was over as well, but in the back of my mind I realized there was 13 minutes left.....
Still who could have predicted an epic collapse like that? Wonder how many "die hard" Bruins fans went to bed thinking it was over and will wake up tomorrow and be shocked.

I sure as hell didn't! The Bruins looked completely lost and dead in the water. Somehow they pulled in a few favours from the hockey gods and won in OT.
They got very very lucky and I hope they put in a better effort against the Rangers or it's going to be a short series.

Incredible. Toronto fans have to wonder if they are destined to be hockey's Chicago Cubs.
Didn't get to see the end on CBC but hopefully they showed the plaza after Boston's tying and GWG. The attention that crowd was getting, was annoying, cutting to them at each commercial break and after Leafs goals.

Really that annoyed you? Do fans not remember how great it was to be Canada's team in 2004, and the red mile experience?
I hope the flames make a plaza with the new stadium, so it can be full when the flames make it back to the playoffs and the Stanley Cup.

I really think that the biggest sting for Leaf fans and the organization is the realization they had a clear path to the East finals. I think the Leafs team were about to catch lightning in a bottle and easily would have dispatched the Rangers with home ice. Home ice in the 2nd round for this team and they pissed it away. Then you look at a team like Anaheim who had an amazing year and got toppled in round 1; it really reminds you how difficult it is to win the Cup and it requires so many things to be just so. This one will haunt the team and organization for a very long time imo.
