Good for them for having the balls to call it quits, not many groups out there would.

With the revamps they are making to WOW with their next expansion I think that they will seen an incrase in subscriptions, and not just the initial expansion push. I know it has my interest peaked and I haven't picked the game up in 3 or 4 years now.

One would think any new Starcraft addition would be a long time after that.

Wonder if at some point it just makes sense for Blizzard to 'reboot' WoW vs trying to create a new MMO IP.

Good luck with a 40 man. Most guilds have issues organizing for 25 mans now. And there are level 60 servers, they're just not official.

The new character models coming in WoD are a big step towards WoW 2.0. They look really good. Plus they're bringing back a level 100 version of Molten Core to celebrate the 10 year anniversary.

maybe do what FFXV did. Have a "game ending" event (while not actually flipping the switch on WoW of course), and then release WoW The 2nd Age or something like that.

If there is one thing Blizzard isn't scared of it is revamping WOW.. every expansion feels like a whole new game, which is how it should be.

Guilds on private servers have no issue organizing 40 man raids so I'm not sure why it would be a problem on retail.

Of course it becomes an issue when equal gear is rewarded from smaller raids, but that is a Blizzard design flaw.
