Pelosi, Reid and a few others have been the face of Democratic Leadership, as well as the leaders of a Democratic controlled Congress since 2006.

The fact that they controlled Congress during the recession and still don't want to admit the real reasons behind the recession is the only reason I'm picking on them.

To a degree, Bush had the best opportunity to deal with the problem, but he let people convince him that it wasn't a big deal.

The people being Franks and others.

Ironically the only person you can't really blame is Obama.

I don't know if this really fits into this thread, but I suppose we could slot it into a few. Quick read, gives credit to George Bush (which should sate some) and says that the government has done a good job in dealing with the financial crisis...

Pretty tough to argue with the points he made about the legislation that led to the recession.

There was a reason Canada never suffered like the US did. And we had our recession too.
