They had a pretty good Starfox ripoff as well. Unfortunately the game consisted of 1 level which took 45 minutes to complete including cinematics.

Make that Dick Tracy and Dirty Harry. Two really hard to beat games that were also really bad.

My first video game systems were an Intellivision, Atari and then Coleco but of course loved the NES.

One of my favorites:

Genesis was awesome for sports games. SNES had a lot of good other titles though.

Too bad the controllers were small so only people with girl hands owned SNES

Remember the Neo Geo? Ridiculously expensive system, I worked in a place that sold them, we'd get one customer, some spoiled rich kid who would buy two titles a week.

I don't remember Radio Shack selling the Neo Geo. That machine was so ridiculously expensive. The only people I knew who had one were these two rich kids from Hong Kong. I think the games got loaded right into the system or something like that.

My sister and I used to play Dr. Mario for hours. We would always end up in a fight at some point. And that music would get stuck in your head for days!

I needed the Game Genie to beat TMNT 1. That was such a hard game. No matter how well I played, I barely had anyone left after getting inside the Technodrome. Using the Game Genie and actually going through the last level, I don't think I could have beat that last level even if I had all the Turtles with full health. It was so freaking hard.

I still have my NES hooked up to my TV. With over 80 games the only ones I still play are Blades of Steel and the original Super Mario. Best system ever!
