I guess my music taste has grown too local over the years.
A festival without R A A just doesn't do it for me... ?
Omg.. am I becoming a Hipster?!?
WHAT ARE THE SIGNS...!! TELL ME!!

Anyone that thinks that this years lineup is meh, has no idea what good music is!
This years lineup is ridiculous and I'm definitely going to try and make it down this year for it.
Also keeping my eye on Sasquatch...
It is pretty meh compared to years past. The lineup just isn't current enough.
Kaiser Chiefs, Arctic Monkeys, Feist, etc... haven't done anything good in 4-5 years.
Then on top of that you've got a bunch of other bands that haven't done anythign in even longer and longer.
I might go just for nostalgia value, but I think people are expecting too much of bands that haven't had hits in 5,10. or even 20 years. With the exception of Portishead, you usually just end up with a kareoke sounding greatest hits tour. Do people honestly expect a punk band now in their 50s to play with the same energy they did at the height of their success
Looks like they spent even more of the bill bringing in some of the biggest names in electro but there are some heavy hitters there for sure; Avicii, Nero, Swedish House Mafia, Afrojack. There are a lot of people that would go to a festival just for those names nowadays.
Would love to see any of those headliners acts and then you could just run back to see almost any of those djs. Seems like a choose-your-own-adventure festival and a great place to lose your mind.

For me the rock side of the roster is kind of underwhelming, but the electronic/dance side is incredible. That lineup almost compares to EDC for that genre of music.

Nice to see the Sheepdogs get some stage time. They're not my style of music, but that's a decent venue for what was once a small time band in Saskatoon.

And see I feel the complete opposite. It's way too safe and falls short of something like UMF.
There are however some really really good hip-hop/rap artists there in A$AP Rocky, Childish Gambino, The Weeknd, and of course Dre and Snoop.
Ah, I tried for the first weekend and then I got a frickin error as it was processing my CC. I'm currently trying again for weekend one but I'm not too hopeful.
I went to Palm Springs for golf a few years ago, and when I got to the hotel some dude and his hot girlfriend gave my brother and I tickets as he was leaving. "I'm heading back to LA tonight, do you guys want these things?" is what he said. . . . Got to see Tool headlining the last night, and it was their first live performance with music from the 10,000 Days album. I can't believe some fool gave up those tickets.
