The witness told court on Monday she and five other friends, including the teen in the photos, arrived at the rave with a large bottle of alcohol they were drinking straight just before 11 p.m., and were separated from her about two hours later.
They found her about 20 to 30 minutes after that, coming out of a field with a male they didn’t know.
“Her hair was fine, her clothes were normal and she wasn’t upset. She was loud, obnoxious and crazy. But she wasn’t upset, she was having a good time.”
The witness also said the teen was showing signs of drunkenness: “She was extra outgoing, more clumsy, with a bit of slurred speech.”
She said the male with her, Colton, was “friendly and nice. He was with us for the majority of the night. He helped us to go to McDonald’s and get a taxi.”
The first they heard of the photos was the next day, when the witness showed the teen a photo texted to her. She said the teen went quiet and went home.
A day or two later she “texted me and said she was given a drug and the other girls were, too.”
