Sportsnet adds another channel Sportsnet ONE

So what is the best way to get in contact with Shaw to make sure they add this channel?

someone on another forum said they phoned Bell and asked about this, and while the CR rep didn't know when it was going to be in Sports theme pack 2 (with Snet, just like TSN2 is with TSN in pack 1) and the same HD pack as Sportsnet

so it shouldn't cost anything more, not a verifiable source or anything but it makes the most sense

Calling Shaw/Bell/Telus won't get you anywhere as finding out info for a few more days. You need to realize that the CSR (or TSR) you call doesn't know any more than you do about when it will happen. When they do finalize the deal for the station, everyone will know about it.

Someone I know who works as a TSR at Shaw had dozens of angry calls last night that this wasn't already in the packages. Lots of yelling and threatening to move to Bell or Telus because of it, which is a silly threat at this point in time given that no provider has the station in their lineup.

All will get it, because if they don't it will be the beginning of the end for that company in terms of their TV business. Sports probably sells more Digital TV packages and HD boxes than any other single genre of TV.

I called Shaw yesterday to speak to customer service (not for the SNET1 issue).

The very first recording that came up was "If you are calling about Sportsnet One, we are working on it" - something along those lines anyway. It sounds like they've been getting lots of calls anyway.

IMO, they will add it very soon.

Yes. The service rep was really nice. I was calling about the Shaw phone and they said BTW you have FSW and now we offer two channels for $3.99 instead of one for $2.95 so pick another one. So I asked about Setanta and she gave it to me.

lucky you...setanta is usually $15/month

i would check your bill to make sure they are charging you correctly...
