I am parked just behind the home depot across 16th ave NW from North Hill mall... (on 17th ave NW)

and i went and checked and many of the cards here have cracked / spirderwebbed windshields and small dent marks on the hoods and roofs...

i seem to have lucked out... I am parked under a large tree and it seems to have shielded my car a bit compared to those around me. Got a few small pea sized dents but all things considered its not too bad.

I might be the only person in Cp land who likes hail But on a serious note if anyone is insured with AMA, Intact, State Farm, or Unifund/Johnson insurance I am here to help with get an estimate and claim moving if need be.

God is obviously punishing us for all the sodomy which goes on at this time of year due to the Calgary Stampede. (Wish the young ladies would let me in on that sodomy action...I'll take the hail.)

Anyone know if the SE around Sundance got hit? It sounds like mostly NW/SW.

If Hesla hasn't posted an update in two hours, I get dibs on starting the memorial thread.

Thanks for the update. My wife is parked up at Crowfoot. I'm less worried now.

Wasn't there a hail storm yesterday as well? Around 7:15-7:20pm? I had my car outside in the NW area (close to Riverside Spa). I did a quick check last night for damage but I'll have to have a more thorough check tonight. Glad it's parked inside today.

There was hail yesterday more heavy in the Sundre area. Sundre yesterday was the insurance industries 10th catastrophe this year, this will mark 11.

Yes. We were out with the two kids and the dog in Coventry. The storm came out of no where, like ######ing feldspar. We had to ditch the stroller and everything else and hide under some guy's deck. The hail was at best the size of ice cubes or big masher marbles. No damage to our stuff but it sure scared the crap out of the kidlets.

Anyone else remember the September 7, 1991 hail storm? When that storm came in, it was literally as black as night.

I'm guessing that, in terms of damage, this one will be more like of of the twin hailstorms that hit south Calgary in Summer 1996.

We aren;t looking at a write-off for hail damage are we? I mean I can't see them writting off a 45K car for hail damage, but judging by the fact it cost me $1,500 for a bumper i'm going say the repair bill could be huge.

The way I read this I'm not sure you know what sodomy is. It's another word for buttsecks. I'm not sure that Stampede brings out the sodomites..
