I've had moldy buns from McD's before. Now I give any burger a thorough inspection before taking a bite.

Odds are pretty good that it was pork or beef bone. Mmmmm. Mechanically deboned meat.

You would think so, but it was a whole bone (not just a piece of bone) about the size of my pinky and it was sort of flexible like an avian bone. No matter what, it was gross.

This actually reminds me of something...

I knew a girl who worked at a popular ice cream/fast food restaurant chain. She cut herself while opening a can of chocolate syrup and bled into the can. Her boss quietly asked her if she had any blood carrying diseases and after she said no, he stirred her blood into the syrup and still used it for customers.

I called to complain and they were going to drive out with a new meal for me. I told them I don't want anything from them, I just wanted them to know so that they can do whatever they can to prevent the same thing from happening again. I also informed them that I would not be returning ever again, and I haven't. I'll drive 5x the distance to get to one of the other locations.

I also complained, online, to health region. Don't know if anything came of it.
A DQ near my house had a sort of ant problem last summer. My friends and I walked in and saw them all over the counter. Not really near the ice cream, but still, you probably want to take care of them... a few weeks later, I heard random people on the bus people talking about that same DQ and ants. Must have been pretty bad...
