Gun Bros was recently ported over to Android. it's a big install (100mb) but it's quite fun. multiplayer isn't working yet but should be available as a free market update soon

That's the right choice, really. I thought I wanted one, because I always had QWERTY feature phones, but like I said, I rarely use it. Non-touch gaming isn't a big enough part of my phone use to justify the additional weight/thickness the keyboard causes.

After I got my Desire Z I was starting to think the same thing. I didn't see any problem with the touch screen keyboard. However, after a couple of weeks and mis-hitting several keys on the screen I popped out the keyboard to give it a chance. I haven't gone back to the touch screen style. I would have never thought that typing with my thumbs would be this comfortable and quick.

Any recommendation on the best app to view MS Office files on an Android phone?
I've been playing around with a few free apps, but the more advance features such as editing files usually need to be pro editions

I haven't had to use it much, but I have had success with the "ThinkFree Office" package. I use it most for the PDF functionality.

I've tried various browsers but always end up back at the stock Android browser. That said, on my ThunderBolt I'm slowly being driven insane by the fact that the browser always fullscreens itself and hides the notification bar. Another HTC "improvement" to the stock Android experience. It'd be fine if they gave me the option to disable it, which of course they do not.

On my phone (2.2), I use Opera Mobile, I like having tabs and the double-tap to zoom in to a frame is nice. On my tablet, (3.1) I use the stock browser, it's quite nice at 3.1.
Does anyone use an Android tablet with a stylus and notebook software? Any recommendations?

Had an idea!

Interestingly enough, the stock browser isn't Chrome.
Which is surprising, since Google could easily make a mobile Chrome browser and install it by default on all phones.

What would be even better would be if they could make the UserAgent and Flash stuff show up the same on PC or mobile, in which case the networks and Hulu wouldn't be able to block Android.

I've gone back to the stock browser. For how often I use the browser, I think the stock browser is way faster than Dolphin. It took way longer to load a few things with Dolphin than it did with the stock browser for me. Too bad, I liked the look and feel of it.

Just switched to Opera Mobile. It's ridiculous how much smoother the scrolling is for me, when compared to the stock browser or Dolphin.
