Is it a new one made from the olympics? Because there's one on YouTube regarding 9/11 and Gander but I just assumed it wasn't the right one.

No idea....was run on Saturday during the Olys so i assume he did the pice for that reason...as i said it is quite lengthy, probably 30 minutes or thereabouts, so if it is that long....thats likely it.
Spent a lot of time in Montrose, Grand Junction and Parachute as a kid. Durango is a nice town, although a bit isolated. Did you grow up there?
No, I didn't grow up in Durango...I'm originally from Massachussetts & grew up all over the east coast, Florida, Colorado, & California. I travel to GJ every now and again on business...that town has really grown. My dogs from Montrose...some nice country up there.

Absolutely beautiful. In my 30 years in this great country, I can't believe how much I learned in 6 minutes from an American. Thank you for sharing this.

HEADS UP!!!
The show Operation:Yellow ribbon which features Tom Brokaw recalling the hospitality of Gander Newfoundland on and following 9/11 and what those people did for over 7,000 stranded Americans/passengers of diverted flights...will air again tomorrow on MSNBC.
This is an absolute must see...originally aired during the Olys and again, every single Canadaian and American should really take the time to DVR this or watch it as it airs. Great stuff. http://www.newsonnews.net/msnbc/2167...om-brokaw.html
