Might be a good thread to ask this-

Where's killer_carlson these days? Did I miss a handle change, or is he still trying to log in to the new board?

--

As for my thoughts on some posters, seeing as I'm a long time board member but only occasional poster, here's some other guys who (for the most part) fit that category and whose posts I usually enjoy reading. In other words, posters who aren't flashy and don't over-do it, but always come with substance and intelligence:

photon (smart guy), Calculoso (underrated poster), Captain Sensible, Skyceman, JohnnyFlame, Fire, AaronSJ, Shin Pad, Sam25 (really enjoy his posts, at one time was right up there with Cowperson for starting the most threads with links to media stories in them), Fredrik, FBI, Fuzzy McGillicuddy, calgARI, speeds, Frostymug (haven't seen him for a while), Sylvanfan (also very underrated).

The kind of third line grinders every championship team needs! And I mean that in the most positive way.

Couple more from me:

TurekGirl2 - Doesn't post much but damn when she decides to tear into somebody it is a beautiful thing.

Reg/MMF/Jordan/KevanGuy/Pagal4321 - all people that went out of there way to help me with a small favor or question here or there. There are others too. One of the great things about this site is the willingness for people to help complete strangers with a problem

Lanny - One of my first days here I ventured into a debate with Lanny where I quickly learned that if you intend to get into a discussion with Lanny you best come with your information straight and ready to defend your position with a great deal of passion. Otherwise he will make you look pretty silly in a hurry.

oiler_fan/speeds - two very knowledgeable Oiler fans that I always enjoy discussing hockey with, despite their questionable allegiances.

Man, I should really stop lurking as much as I do and start posting more. For someone who visits the boards a few times a day nobody knows who the heck I am...
I feel you. I've posted over 1000 times since I joined in January, and not one person mentioned me too. Oh well, I guess I am still paying my dues[/b][/quote]
Don't worry GQ I noticed you

Albertgq - the guy who seen a lot of woman upper body parts at a certain calgary nightclub where all the flames attended then posted about it on CP, also defends Turek way to much.

By the way thanks for saying I was your favorite poster ever haha.

Threads like this make me wish I didn't lurk for 4 years before signing up and posting.

But anyway... I've always enjoyed reading the posts of Bingo, Cow, transplant, Dis, Lanny, Reggie, Jordon, and MMF.

This thread also makes me wonder what happened to some of the older posters with pretty cool handles that don't seem to be around anymore. Like TTC and Bag on Head.
