Guess all the way for me. I'm a slender dood and they seem to be the only ones that feel like they fit, as opposed to hang from my waist. But normally I'm batting in $150 which is why I have two pairs and a bunch of cheaper for working etc.

You may not see the value in paying that for jeans, but don't kid yourself, your $40 jeans are not the same.

Oh I agree, you can see the difference, but they still look like jeans to me, and I don't think I could bring myself to pay 150 bucks more for a minor difference in appearance. I think you are more likely to FEEL the difference though. Like I said, I rarely wear jeans, I wear dresspants or shorts....
I've had expensive jeans in the past. I personally don't find them any better or more comfortable (although not $200 jeans! ).
Honestly made with better material's doesn't stand with me either. I've had $120 jeans last a year before ripping, and I've $40 dollar jeans do the same. I've also had both types last for MANY years...
Seems to me that most (NOT ALL don't want to generalize) buy the jeans for the label. If those designer jeans were $40 bucks, many wouldn't be interested in them. It's all about the name.
Also to be fair, I'm not talking about $100 jeans here, I wouldn't pay that, but I don't find that to be outrageous..... I'm talking $250 and up... That's insanity, at least to me.
To each their own I suppose. The jeans do look good I guess, so if people want to spend their money on it, go for it. I know there a lot of people who question the amounts of money I spend on certain things.

Lois jeans are by fare the most comfortable and best fitting I've ever had. They are made in Canada! I bought 2 pairs over 4 years in montreal. My first pair still looks ok.
Not sure where you can get them in Calgary. They use some kind of semi-stretchy jean fabric on the ones I have, but it's very durable.

More like 60-70 bucks.

Ok lets switch our topic of discussion to shades!
I bought a pair of spys a few years back that I loved and used for years, still have actually. Last year I splurged and bought a $300 pair of Prada's, and I proceeded to lose them one day on the lake when I was in the boat, forgot they were on my head, jumped in.
Nice move genius, who brings those shades to the lake? Anyway, I have decided I am way to dumb to spend that much on shades to again, maybe dumb enough to start. I want to pick up a few good pairs of shades for my Mexico trip, on the cheap.
There are 100's of sites out there that sell "quality" sun glassess for 20 bucks a pair.. but which ones are actually a decent buy?
Obviously at 20 bucks I don't expect them to last a summer, but I would expect a day out of them and relative comfort. Any tips from anyone on budget sun glass shopping?

Buying sunglasses online often yields a decent price, but you just have to be careful sometimes. I've ordered a couple of pairs of sunglasses from opticsplanet recently and one pair (Serengheti's) got shipped by UPS and UPS always goes through customs and they screw you. The other pair were Bolle, and while I used to absolutely love the pair of Bolle sunglasses I had, the quality is garbage now.

Those websites scare me, I feel like I am on a 4 chan version of ebay..
So random deals just appear?
I guess it would help if I could decide which type of glasses I want.. I am a big fan of Aviators.
I also like those shades that are half shutter shade ... ya I know :/

All 3 of those sites are 100% legit, I order off them all the time. It's all real product as well, not fake.
I buy bike parts, snowboard gear, outerwear, all kinds of stuff from those sites, and not once have I had a problem with it. They even use UPS and package everything as a gift so you don't pay brokerage, which is super handy. You can add a commet to the bill of lading, and I always put "Happy Birthday" on mine.

I tired to buy a pair of Oakley's a couple years ago from the intertubes, wasn't worth it. The only "deals" I was able to find were on eBay. But after the rip off shipping costs, dollar exchange, and custom fees the savings was gone. They were the same price as walking into a Sunglass Hut. The only Oakley's that I was able to find on eBay that were significantly cheaper were knock offs and at $55 they were also a rip off. This and trying to buy a digital camera were the reasons I gave eBay. Getting my Paypal account hacked was just the icing on the cake.
But this was a couple years ago and things may have changed and new web sites have probably popped up.

There are plenty of sites exactly like these.
Each seems to fill a certain niche.
Steep&cheap
whiskeymilitia
Brociety
Chainlove
tramdock
bonktown
I really only use whiskey militia and Brociety.com
Brociety is almost exactly like whiskey.
I guess I better add that i use these sites all the time, and no problems.

So I basically just sit here and wait for Sun glasses to pop up and hope it is a pair I like?
Is there free shipping on any of these sites?
I love the prices on some of this stuff..

[QUOTE=GreenLantern;2323579]Right thanks guys.. I have sevens, diesels etc.. and I love them, they are super comfortable. What I am looking for is a step below those.. something that is about half the price ($100 or less) but still very comfortable and stylish enough to step out for an evening in. Basically the tier below the William Rasts, True Religions, Sevens etc..
QUOTE]
Don't even put True Religion and Seven on the same tier. Sevens are fantastic, fit well and are made well. True Religions are for attention whores who consider Ed Hardy a good idea. You will often see True Religion jeans, an Ed Hardy shirt, frosted tips, a fake tan and sunglasses worn inside all together.
