You never truly BBQed till you plated some food from the grill and walked inside 30 seconds later to find your food went cold from the -30 temperature.

Looks like I wasn't the only one with the idea to head home from work early. 22X was pretty good, but a bit slippery in places, and likely only getting worse. Now there seems to be a strong wind from the NW that's blowing snow all over the place.

Wall of snow just hit my house, just west of Strathmore out in the boonies. Gusting winds of 50K my arse, I'd say maybe 70-80K out of the north. Glad to have come home a little bit early to beat this mess.

Same here. Westhills area was NUTS for bout 20 minutes or so, then settled.

Anyone been ooot and aboot this evening? I have to drive crosstown early tomorrow morning (pre-rush hour) and I'm curious as to how the roads are coping.

By the weekend, we'll be looking back to this weather fondly. Break out the winter parkas.
