go to the bottom where the tags are and see "edit tags" click that and you can add 2 tags per thread.

To the right of the tags you don't see an 'edit tags'? I wonder if you have to be a member for X amount of months or X number of posts?

Yep. Thread-tags are definitely a PC-only thing. Apple confirmed this as a known issue just last week.
"We are currently aware of an issue with Leopard users not being able to add or edit tags in threads created at Calgarypuck.com. While we certainly sympathize with this large portion of our user-base, we are not able to provide a timeframe on a possible resolution. In the meantime, a temporary workaround might be to create more threads calling for the trade of either Jarome Iginla or everyone else on the team combined. We have found that those types of threads have the biggest success in terms of tag functionality."

I believe it was just the mods that handed them out. I was too busy getting blue squares.
And thanks! I always add tags to threads I get involved in. Sometimes the mods delete them.

I know of at least one other hockey forum where this has happened. Would actually be a bit surprised if it never happened here.
