Mind as well put Tate in.

It might be the only way Cortez actually nickels and dimes the defense a bit.

Our defense are getting tired and showing. Brutal offense doing 2 and out way too many times. If the Stamps lose in this game, I sure hope it is a blow out so Burris and company finally wakes up and tell themselves they cannot rely on defense way too many times.

I'm kinda tired of the excuses, the excuses of 2 new receivers etc. They have been in town almost a month already. Something has to change.

Impressive - separation by the receivers.

Maybe they need to go into this hurry up on a regular basis.

Yup.

I could understand if he dropped if off the hit, but we need someone to make a play and it was right there for the taking.

Calgary has the option for the ball or the wind in the second half.

Watch them kick the ball off so they have the wind in the 4th quarter.

I'd say this basically seals the deal on any hope of a repeat championship. Just not the same team.

What is the aversion the Stamps have to picking up 12 yards on a passing down?

If the 8-10, Crandell led Stamps can win the Grey Cup then there's still plenty of hope.

Aside from Montreal, who is really much better than the Stamps? The only team with an argument in Saskatchewan and they haven't looked like world beaters lately either.

The West is as much the Stampder's as anyone else's. If they can gut their way into the Grey Cup they get to play in front of the home crowd and anything can happen.

What is their aversion to throwing the ball short over the middle?

That last throw to Bryant is the only one by my count and that was a desperation throw under heavy pressure.

I don't know. Of course, the receivers are just not making the tough catches. Actually they're not making the easy catches either.

So... any guesses on the half-time act?

Pretty frustrating game in the first half. Als 22 Calgary 10 after the first half.

The only reason the score is closer is because of the play of the Stampeders defense early in the first half. The defense have been on the field way too many times so far and now it is showing the crack. 2 big runs by Al's RB, and some good passes by Calvillo benefits from defense breaking down.

Burris and company started really bad again by Burris throwing an INT on his first play. Then he went out 2 and out a few times. It was a case of overthrowing the ball to the receivers or the Als defense are not giving him anyone to throw to. Our OLine are just plain brutal having way too many problems giving Reynolds some room and some time for Burris to throw the ball. Why is Godfrey Ellis starting on the OLine? Is O'Neill injured or something. They defintely misses Newman's blocking on his guard position.

Cuthbert and Suitor, yes we know the Stamps misses Rambo and now Thelwell... but no more excuses. The 2 players they traded for are both veterans who can play (not as good as Rambo or Thelwell). From what I noticed most of the time Burris is playing scared in the last few games. He used to run the ball forward when there is a breakdown on the play and usually gain more yardage. Lately, it is very rare to see Burris do the QB sneak.

While I am ranting here.... WTF is wrong with TSNHD's audio?????? it keeps cutting off and it is annoying!!

too early to even think the Stamps will not repeat as a Grey Cup champion.
