I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I like the Lions to win straight up this week.

I agree, I've penciled in the Lions for 3 wins this season and this would be one of them

I like the two team that players yesterday..

Miami +5.5 over SD and Indy +2 over Arizona.

But I'm a little afraid of taking team coming off a monday nighter.

I'm actually thinking this as well. Already on +6.5 and thinking about moneyline as well.

So my bets this week are:

$54.50 (to win $50) on Chicago (-1) over Seattle

$10 3 team parlay (wins $107) -

Houston (-3.5) over Jacksonville
NY Giants (-6.5) over Tampa Bay
Detroit over Washington (Money Line)

$10 3 team parlay (wins $58.24) -

Miami (+6) over San Diego
Pittsburgh (-4) over Cincinnati
Denver (-1) over Oakland

$10 6 team teaser (wins $70)

NY Jets (+5) over Tennessee
Houston (+2.5) over Jacksonville
Detroit (+12) over Washington
Atlanta (+10) over New England
New Orleans (pk) over Buffalo
Pittsburgh (+2) over Cincinnati

Rube's Lock of the Week:

I still love Chicago (-1) over Seattle. Surprisingly, the line hasn't moved at all. At -122 it's not a great value bet, but you should win. Hasselbeck is most likely out. The Seahawks have a banged up offensive line and no real running-game. The only issue I have with betting against Seattle is their terrific homefield advantage, but I think that will be nullified by their crappy, injury-riddled team.

Other games I like:

NY Giants (-6.5) over Tampa Bay
Houston (-3.5) over Jacksonville
New Orleans (-6) @ Buffalo

Games I hate:

Atlanta @ New England (-4)
San Francisco @ Minnesota (-7)

who else likes Carolina to beat the spread against Dallas?
Saints will definitely cover against Buffalo. Brees is a machine

Lock of the week is Browns and Ravens, Browns will keep this game to within 13 or I am a piece of crap

Won $100 on the Colts and Bears wins. Lost $50 on the Panthers being unable to beat 10 point spread.

Lions (+10) over Bears
Jets (+7) over Saints

5 team parlay ($5 to win $115)

Jets (+7) over Saints
Bills (-1) over Dolphins
49ers (-9.5) over Rams
Broncos (+3) over Cowboys
Chargers (+6.5) over Steelers

6 team teaser ($10 to win $70)

Ravens (+7) over Patriots
Bengals (+0.5) over Browns
Giants (-3) over Chiefs
Lions (+16) over Bears
Redskins (-1) over Bucs
Jets (+13) over Saints
