I've met a bunch, but the funniest story was when we were living at our old house in Edmonton and our neighbours were another young couple. The husband and my wife were chatting over the fence one day when he asked if I liked hockey. My wife responded that I did, but that I was a diehard flames fan. Low and behold, so was he. My wife said, he's really crazy about it - he's always on this Calgarypuck site. The husband says, really! So am I!
That's when we found out that Fozzie the Bear lived next to us. It was great.

I've bought a bunch of stuff from Aeneas (the baby bathtub is excellent, btw!) and utilized Troutman's legal expertise once or twice. Sold/bought a few other things from random CPers. Also I know SeeGeeWhy, simmer2, boblobla, Gozer, Fivehole... I think that's about it.
But it explains why my confessions are never very exciting. I have to keep the really good ones to myself because people "know" me on here!

As others have said- probably in the dozens for me thanks in part to the buy & sell.
Funny story about meeting CPers and not knowing- when I started my new job a couple of the guys were sitting around having lunch, and they started talking about a thread on CP. They satrted throwing around names saying things like "and then Fotze said ___"
The one guy turned to me and said "Sorry- just talking about a hockey forum we are both on." At that point I told them I was ken0042, and found out their handles.

Every once in a while I'll meet a Calgarian at the BAC but so far none of them have been familiar with CP. They must be from the rotten part of Calgary.

I have met many over the years, and hope to meet many more.
It's hard to comprehend the enormity of CP. I remember once when I was in Ontario I posted a story about a few of my friends who got hit on by the Penguins at a bar in Manhattan and seriously 1-2 days later one of those friends asked me if I posted the story.
Another time, many years ago, I posted about how someone I knew was abusing his media privileges (well, not really but he was scared) and within a day he contacted Bingo to delete the post and got pissed off at me.

Peanut and SeeGeeWhy are longtime friends, CZure has taken me to a game or three, can't think of anyone else.
I got raped in a hostel in Rome but it would be an awfully weird coincidence if he turned out to be a Pucker.

Unbeknownst to both of us, Russic has been staring at the back of my head for a decade now at Flames games.

I sometimes fraudulently report 4x4 to Crime Stoppers for petty misdemeanors.
