Obviously a guy here and there on other teams too but . The Screws forfeited their game against us because of one guy, he got a penalty and completely lost his mind when he left the ice he stood at the side of the rink without his jersey on cursing about the ref, and atleast once he opened the door and cursed out the ref some more. we were winning 5 - 4 at the time but not a a good way to lose.
We only have 4 teams in our division from the Winter, Us, The Bears, The Ice Demons, and Gangrene
Yeah, the reff told me about that guy on the Screws... such a stupid way to loose. It's odd, every once and a while you get a guy that just freaks out over nothing. Usually the rest of the team just shakes their head at the guy, especially if he looses the game for them.

They were at 6 PIM's before he started and ended at 31, it was a close game but he just completely lost it. The Pirates went on and won 2 straight to take the title, I'm a tad disappointed they are getting moved up because we had some good games against them, well hopefully this new batch of teams is fun to play against.

The Pirates won solely because of their goalie. I play on the 7 Gen Wolverines and we DOMINATED both games. I think we had 4-5 posts and outshot them 2 or 3 -1 both games and their goalie stood on his head.

They were a good team to play against though. #4 Defencemen can lose his mind a bit. They also lost one guy after talking a slapper to the chin...got 30+ stitches and a broken jaw apparently.

Their goalie is really good. I know what you mean about #4 though, really nice guy off the ice but becomes a dick once he starts playing.

I heard about this too. I play for the Saints in E North (we lost in the north final to the 7 Gen Wolves), and we have the same goalie as the Screws. He came into our last game just fuming over how stupid that guy was to lose the game for them.

It looks like they have shifted around E quite a bit. I know both the Timbits and the Rebels have been sent down to E2.

GravityKillr - I don't mind your team, actually you guys are really good to reff... not like those Screaming Sheep a**holes

What's the name of your team in HNA? We're in div 4 (which is actually div 3 it appears).

Yeah. Kind of like that guy on Timbits of Doom... I don't know his name, but he wears #12.

I'm totally kicking his ass next time we play each other!

That is, unless he uses his league connections to get his team relegated just to avoid taking me on. I'm intimidating like that.

We are called the Piranhas. This is our first season so they are starting us in the lowest league and evaluating us from there. We have some really good guys so I'm assuming we'll be moved up pretty quick, not sure which div we'll end up in though.

Yeah #12 is as cheap as they come *but a true scoring machine. I also hear he knows the refs around the league and has the power to have goals called off in playoff games.

*Please don't check my stats to verify that... those damn refs always get the score sheet wrong

Yeah he went 7 or 8 deep in the shootout against my team to go up against your team.

Your goalie's a good guy, I talk to him almost every time I play against him, he wasn't too upset after the forfeit but he said he had your team still going so he was good but I figure a day or two to sit on it and he probably wasn't happy

Yeah, and I should clarify, by "fuming", I meant fuming by his standards. He's a really nice guy and always looks happy to just to be suiting up to play some hockey.

I could sense frustration in his voice when he was describing the event, and he talked about it for a good 10 minutes, so he was definitly pissed off about losing that way, but he wasn't shouting and swearing over it or anything.

#4 is the dirtiest player in the league. I get slew footed by him several times every time we play them, as I imagine happens with other teams. Total bitch move and he loves it. He's also a huge diver. Guy thinks he's an NHL pest or something, like give me a break it's division E of a beer league. Fitting that the idiot officials never call it on him either so he has no reason to stop.

Glad we only played them twice!! But he tried the same move on a few of us. At least until we paid him back a bit and then he stopped. But he is a whiny biatch who is afraid to do anything straight up...anyways...we watched a bit of your final game vs. the Pirates and thought there was no chance they should beat you so we left. Got a bit of surprise when we checked the box score the next day.

But at least we know how Washington feels!!! ;-)

That's kind of weird because the NCHL will often start good teams really low just because they're new to the league, and the HNA prides themselves on not doing that, and instead asking the GM to submit his roster with each player's age, highest level of hockey played, and how many years it's been since they played.

Then they try and place you as best they can, and in fact they actually enjoy doing it and see how well they can place teams, aka not have to move them up or down after the seeding round.

It's also strange they would do that because in the summer the seeding round is 5 games out of 15, which means you could play the first game, win 10 - 0 (the game ends if you're up by 10 goals, and honestly if you have good players this will likely happen, as the teams I see listed in the lowest division are true beginner teams), know that you don't belong, and yet still have to play a third of your season in that division. They won't move you until the seeding round ends.
