Meh I don't really feel like opening this bag of worms, I don't like themed parties. In fact I'm supposed to go to one this weekend, the theme is "crazy sunglasses" but I will just wear my regular sunglasses and have just as much fun as if I bought some novelty ones.
Sometimes you just get the feeling that the luminati isn't trying anymore.

Sweet, might have to check that out, I have a bachelorette party this weekend with no definate bar plans so I will totally be suggesting this.

I dunno, the crazy sunglasses theme could be coupled with some dim lighting to spice things up. A bunch of people stumbling around drunk and blind has all kinds of potential.

Couple friends went to it the other night and they said it was pretty outstanding. Besides, it's right next to HiFi so if it's lame, I can always go jam at the illest bar in town!

Oh god, Tubbs was badddddd! At least Crockett's music career was semi-listenable when he was in his vocal range. Phillip Michael Thomas might have a decent voice but he's being put in the totally wrong register and sounds so nasely and dorky. The low R&B growl he had near the end was decent. BTW, that guitarist in "Heartbeat" is what you should be going as but you need the hair. I just realized, Don Johnson is basically William Shatner of the 80s. Same mannerisms.
