According to my receipt, whoever's the franchisee...lives at Heritage Pointe in DeWinton.

I would eat at this place every day if I knew that I wouldn't blow of the seams and die in a month. The place is good.

Location??
Reviving an old topic based on news. Does anyone know the location? After over one year of teasing, it sounds like things are coming together.

Is it too early to camp outside and peer through the windows?

It says "opening soon" on the website. "Soon" could mean tomorrow, or 2011 for all we know. I should go do a recon of the area to see what's up.

My one and only Fatburger experience was horrible. I paid a crap load for a dry burger that was average at best. Not impressed.
Not once have I had a bad 5 Guys Burger and Fries experience. When I'm in the States, I make a point of going to one of their locations and I know I will making excuses to get to the Calgary location.

it'll have to be a mighty good burger to top Rocky's Burger Bus. and even then i doubt they can match the bang for the buck that Rocky has

It's amazing how much money they want for franchises.
I remember thinking the Tim Horton's in Huntington was a bad investment, that was about 28 yr's ago.

I had a meal at Five Guys this summer in Montana. Both the burger and fries are better than average, but Rocky's is probably a little better.
Five Guys is waaaaay better than Fat Burger since Fat Burger's burgers are awful.

Sweet, I was fearing it would be near the Ikea. This is great news. Not quite close enough to walk to but this is excellent. I really hope they are better than Peters.
Boogies is a good alternative but their yam fries are terrible and their burgers are very messy.

Just texted a a buddy who's the manager here in Lethbridge. Looks like construction delays have set the opening in Lethbridge back until at least Nov. 30th.
If anybody in Lethbridge is wondering, it will be located by the southside walmart closer to where East Side Mario's is/was.

They are pretty similar indeed, and yeah, I would give Rocky's the edge....if only for the ambiance of eating out of a bus on a picnic table in the middle of an industrial park. It's a good time.
