Nemisz looked really good in the part of the game I saw. He was always in front of the net for point shots and managed to deflect a few, he'd throw his body around on the forecheck which is nice to see given his size. Showed some good stickhandling I thought. Showed good instincts in the offensive zone for the powerforward role. Only my 2nd time seeing him but I like his upside a lot more than Chucko's.
Hall was awesome again. There are times in both the Windsor games I saw where its Hall in a league of his own making the rest of the players look slow, silly and weak.

Wow that's pretty random! Does Wichita have any minor or junior hockey teams?

Wichita Thunder of the CHL and if you mosie around the site a bit, you'll find their fans have been voted the most annoying for 6 years running. Now we know where Dis gets his inspiration.
Just kidding there.

I didnt see Nemisz play in his last game, but holy crap he's got 6 points! If he has a big game tomorrow he could take the tournament scoring lead.

CHL (Central Hockey League) team...one step below the ECHL...ok maybe 2 steps.
They do have a travelling junior team that plays against teams in Texas a lot.
So...not really.

I can't go to those games, the Flames are usually playing!
They do get good attendance though, relative to the rest of the league. Surprisingly. This town has a very poor history of supporting sports teams.
I must say I'm not surprised that they were voted most annoying fans in the CHL. The entire city is fairly annoying.

Why do they schedule the game to start when there is an NHL game on at the same time? I can understand during the weekdays and with it being hosted in the East with the 4pmPST/7PMEST start times. But for the final game why wouldn't they put it on at 4pmPST/7EST today with the NHL game being an early afternoon game. Instead they put it in the afternoon as well which will probably hurt their ratings a little

I believe in the Jays.

Yeesh, not a good start for the Rockets... down two goals, hated by the crowd, top scorer looks hurt.

Yes, 3-0 Windsor.
Kelowna's goalie got the hook, let in 3 goals on 3 shots.

If Kelowna pisses this game away, and it sure looks like they are going to, it would have to be one of the worst choke jobs/upsets in awhile.
Should have been a cakewalk for them and instead they hand the win to Windsor.
Tough to get too down on 17-19 year olds but what a terrible job by them if they lose.

Let's hope the cup doesn't fall apart when they award it this year.
