I'd finish my degree, continue to coach, and once I got my degree I'd continue to work with disabled kids in regards to physical education. I mean I like what I'm doing, I'll keep doing it even if I have a lot of money, having a lot of money just means I can actually do random crazy things (within the law of course) and not have to worry about it financially.

Not a chance I would work. I would hire someone responsible enough to manage a sufficient portion of my money for me such that I wouldn't have to worry about a salary for the rest of my life, and I would spend the rest utterly wantonly. I would share parties and adventures in different parts of the world with friends and family and focus on becoming a professional motorcycle racer and National Geographic photographer. I would keep this up until either achieving the dream or running out of play money. Once the play money ran out, I'd use the profits from investments to lead a more relaxed but still enjoyable life of travel and charitable work in various places around the globe. Mostly having fun, but doing some good along the way.

Whenever the question of "what would you do if you won the lottery comes up?", I always hear some people say they would keep working in some capacity because they would get "bored". Bored, shmored, imo that just means you're not truley realizing how much there is to enjoy in life.
Man, there would be so much to do and see.
I guess I'd start by buying a nice house outright, so no mortgage. I'd get rid of my Flames season tickets in the second bowl, and just buy the best tickets available to any game I wanted to attend, including playoff games. I'd be a part of 3 or 4 rec hockey teams.
I'd go camping and go on trips all the time. I'd take up every sport I've ever thought about doing. mountain biking, hang gliding, soccer etc.
I'd help out those less fortunite all the time.
Man, there's just so much to experience in this world, and so little time, I just can't imagine how anyone could say "Oh, I'd get bored, so i'd probably work", like, frikin c'mon! Get out there!

Absolutely not. I would spend the rest of my life pursuing things I enjoy. Going to work everyday or even part time is not one of those things.

I'd live my dream job and start my own video game studio and work in it as an artist. It's still work but it's fun work.

Not sure how much it would take, but I would open a sports complex. It would have a driving range, batting cages, a rink, a ball hockey court, an indoor and outdoor pool, a good sports bar/restaurant with plenty of games, and if I had really hit it big a golf course.
I would golf every morning and spend the rest of my time at the sports complex.
I would travel once or twice a year.

(1) I could easily live on 2mil no problem without work (although more would be better).
(2) It would depend on how widespred the knowledge of my winnings would be. If no one new, then I would work no matter the amount won for at least a while.

Work? I can't believe anyone would answer yes. Beyond belief actually. Doing some bozo job for someone else when you just got the opportunity of a lifetime--spare me -- I feel sorry for you.
You could dedicate yourself to working on projects that were all about higher goals than just earning cash from a stinkin job. Meanwhile you could have fun galore.
Not a chance I would "work" but I'd get a lot of worthwhile things done.

I would not work. I would be traveling all over the world, staying about a month in each spot. From big cities to tents in the middle of nowhere...sign me up!

If I won, I wouldn't be working where I am now. I would be doing something that I am passionate about, or something I can't afford to enjoy currently.
One job I would focus on is being a great father to my son, and future children, by making sure I have more time for them, but also making sure that I didn't squander the money into stupid purchases or investments that would mean they had nothing to build off of.
I think if my wife and I won $1M, I would make sure she would never have to work again. Make the money work for us. And I would look to working in a less hectic part time job. I'd also put some aside strictly for my children's education. They will still go to school, incase the money does dry up.
If we won $2M, I think I'd do the same, but invest more into our situation (house, lifestyle) while still staying responsible to/with the money.
If we won $3M, it'd be same as $2M, but I think that would open it up to me not working.
Anything more than that, I would look at traveling or whatever, but I think even $500,000 would change a lot of things.
As far as would I keep quiet? I would be cautious who I would tell, and I would try to take steps to ensure my family was safe. I would consider helping my family with their goals, as long as mine were taken care of first. I would go unlisted tho.

The obvious answer is hell no.
I'd also either be dead or in jail in about 6 months.

Can I add that I'd give some to Locke, just to see what he'd do?
*I really wouldn't, but the ideas are endless to what he'd do with it...

No way would I work.
What are these jobs that people would choose do? I can't think of a single job that I would want to do other than pro athlete over doing nothing at all.
10 million for sure to quit work completely.

Hmmmmm. Now is it any wonder some NHL players go downhill after that first big contract?
