it always looks like Sundin had fished his mouthguard out of the urinal. I cringe everytime he opens his mouth...

Is that right? You trying to defend Burrows as anything but a coward, who dives, turtles, dishes out cheap shots constantly, pulls hair, and punches people from the bench shows how little you understand about what exactly makes up a gutless player.
Comparing him to Iginla in any way is laughable.
I would take Kesler on my team any day, but I would be ashamed to cheer for a piece of garbage like Burrows.

I'm not sticking up for it, but you guys are making him out to be the next Chris Simon. It was a bonehead move, no doubt.

No, we are not - Simon could and would fight anyone. Burrows is about as tough as Hanna Montana.

Cheap shots constantly? He's an agitator who gets under the opposing teams skin. He isn't taking a baseball bat swing to anyones head. A little hit here and there after the whistle isn't "cheap". It's grown up hockey, not house league. "Pulled" hair. He doesn't pull it every game.
Comparing him to Iginla? I wouldn't compare them skill-wize. I was saying that if you call Burrows a dirty player than that's like me saying Iginla sucks.

I'm not sticking up for Burrows either because I think he is a clown. I do like Kesler though. With that said, Chris Simon was the biggest POS and dirtiest hockey player i've ever seen. Absolute disgrace to the game of hockey.

Of course not. But they sure don't pull hair. And if they did, they'd be ridiculed for it.

They chirp, they dive, they turtle when they're challenged. Burrows pulls hair, and throws punches from the bench because he's too chicken to stand up for his actions.
I'm sorry, but I can list a lot of players that play they're heart out that don't have a yellow stripe down their back, and pee their pants whenever they're challenged over their bull antics.
Burrows is not worthy of any respect, he's no different from Avery, its just that nobody cares what Burrows think so he doesn't get the microphone antics. He's no different from chicken Ruutu. .

Obviously Simon is tougher, but he's screwed in the head and a definate cheap shot artist. Burrows isn't like that. He's not a Lucic or Laraque, he's not going to scrap it out with the tough guys. He's just going to piss you off.
Plus you add in 28 goals and 23 assists for someone who made mininum league pay this season, is not bad.

Except that what we're saying about Burrows is true, what your saying about Inginla is crap.

You're a Canuck hater. Plain and simple. You can't seem to sort the facts through your brain because you're a clear homer. I can admit when Burrows does stupid things, but to label him as you're labeling him, then that's where I am speechless.

And I'm sure if you dug deep into the depth of CP you would find people disgusted at his antics.
Edit: And if Nemo played with the Sedins he would look that good too. Hell he looked good with Donovan and Nilson.

Wow equally speechless. Wah Wah they're being mean about my darling Burrows.
He's a punk, he takes cheapshots, he dives like a sissy and he turtles.
Thats not some stupid things, that his whole thing.
Its great that his offense has blossomed for him, but that doesn't make him any less of a dirtbag.
And yes, I am a Canuck hater, I proudly admit it.

There are 29.5 fan bases (.5 for the realistic Canucks fans) who think Burrows is a dirty player. Enough said. Burrows is a cheap shot artist.
Backes could stoop to their level and ask about Luc, Charlene, Taylor or Carly but I doubt that he would do that. Just classless players trash talking.
