Another nice win, BJ excluded, simply no excuse to walk hitters with a big lead.

A really good game for the Jays, with a pretty ugly blemish, that being B.J. Ryan of course, but they got the win, Frasor stepped up in a pressure situation and struck out Martinez, really liking the Jays Bullpen, Ryan excluded.

Jays are looking real good now. I didn't think they were as bad as people made them out to be (still a decent lineup). Scutaro has played very well (I thought he'd have a setback from being decent last year) and everyone has played relaxed and like a real team. BJ's been disappointing, but I'm sure that can be corrected with proper conditioning by midseason. A few things I'm concerned about though: Overbay and the SP's. With Overbay, the guy just doesn't have the power or clutch hitting that a 1st baseman should generally have. I like his defence, but I'm just not sure about his offensive game. The SP's have played alright, but it just seems that at least 2 will get injured at somepoint this year, and who'll be there to replace them? What happened to Matt Clement? Is he still with the organization?

Purcey has given up a few runs early.

Jays might have to get used to this coming-from-behind pattern.

Jays are down 4-2 in the 4th... however Litsch left the game with an injury. Jays better hope its not serious.

Litsch was serving up meatballs today.

If the Jays had a real closer, I wonder if it would be a crazy idea to move B.J. to starter. If I recall, that's how his career started (?)

BJ only has two pitches, not to mention his velocity has dropped. I doubt he would be effective. Jays are buggered with this guy... they may need to send him to AAA or AA to get his problems fixed.

Vernon Wells has been awful.....the anti-clutch.

Edit: And wow, Travis Snider is earning the nickname "The Franchise."

Yeah that was some kind of bomb. I am hoping this game gets real interesting when they bring Ryan in to close.

Can't say this team isn't batting well. 19 hits today, wow.

And BJ looked a bit like the old BJ.

Good win.

Offense is clicking, but still worried about BJ. The save is nice and all but I don't know how many he can get with an 88 mph fastball. Move Snider up in the lineup, no need for Rod to bat before him. Go Jays Go!

I like where Snider is...for now.

No pressure in the 9-hole, let him get some confidence then put him up to the 6th slot and give Lind some protection.

agreed, with the offense going the way it is, don't screw with anything.

Uh oh, I'd imagine they'll find a large amount cheese whiz, but hopefully no structural damage. I hope Mills is ready.
