I'm not disputing that the private entity doesn't have the right to pick and choose who they want to financially support. I don't have a problem with that at all.
What I do have a problem with is the hypocrisy in choosing to draw the line in this case and expressing moral indignation for, as SportsJunky coughed, alleged actions against Rhiahahahanana while ignoring or brushing off the stuff other artists have been accused or guilty of.
Energy 101 uses a song by Shaggy on their latest TV spot. Shaggy was accused of sexual assault (and later cleared). He has a criminal record just like a buttload of other artists they play. Heck, Energy 101's webpage currently has a picture of Chad Kroeger and Britney Spears as part of their logo banner. The former is guilty of impaired driving and the latter has had her own children taken away because she was an unfit parent.

Well I guess it depends on the weapon or drug offense, but beating the holy hell out of a person is considerably worse than being pinched with a gun in your glove compartment, or having a garbage bag full of weed in your trunk. Or both.

I find it funny that radio stations choose not to play a guy because he allegedly hit a girl one time. I understand the principle behind not paying him royalties each time his song is played, but like many of you guys mentioned, where do you draw the line? I find it even funnier that Jay-Z who manages Rihanna or something to that effect, came out and said something like, "Imagine that was your sister or mother", while years back, there's video of him slapping a woman who got too close to him in a hallway. I don't get it. If his music is good enough to be played, play it.

This blow by blow account from the LAPD's sworn statement is pretty sick - hopefully Brown pays a heavy price. Robin F is Rihanna's real name.
------
"Brown was driving a vehicle with Robyn F. as the front passenger on an unknown street in Los Angeles. Robyn F. picked up Brown's cellular phone and observed a three-page text message from a woman who Brown had a previous sexual relationship with.
"A verbal argument ensued and Brown pulled the vehicle over on an unknown street, reached over Robyn F. with his right hand, opened the car door and attempted to force her out. Brown was unable to force Robyn F. out of the vehicle because she was wearing a seat belt. When he could not force her to exit, he took his right hand and shoved her head against the passenger window of the vehicle, causing an approximate one-inch raised circular contusion.
"Robyn F. turned to face Brown and he punched her in the left eye with his right hand. He then drove away in the vehicle and continued to punch her in the face with his right hand while steering the vehicle with his left hand. The assault caused Robyn F.'s mouth to fill with blood and blood to splatter all over her clothing and the interior of the vehicle.
"Brown looked at Robyn F. and stated, 'I'm going to beat the s--t out of you when we get home! You wait and see!' "
The detective said she then used her cell phone to call her personal assistant ... who did not answer.
"Robyn F. pretended to talk to her and stated, 'I'm on my way home. Make sure the police are there when I get there.'
"After Robyn F. faked the call, Brown looked at her and stated, 'You just did the stupidest thing ever! Now I'm really going to kill you!'
"Brown resumed punching Robyn F. and she interlocked her fingers behind her head and brought her elbows forward to protect her face. She then bent over at the waist, placing her elbows and face near her lap in [an] attempt to protect her face and head from the barrage of punches being levied upon her by Brown.
"Brown continued to punch Robyn F. on her left arm and hand, causing her to suffer a contusion on her left triceps (sic) that was approximately two inches in diameter and numerous contusions on her left hand.
"Robyn F. then attempted to send a text message to her other personal assistant. Brown snatched the cellular telephone out of her hand and threw it out of the window onto an unknown street.
"Brown continued driving and Robyn F. observed his cellular telephone sitting in his lap. She picked up the cellular telephone with her left hand and before she could make a call he placed her in a head lock with his right hand and continued to drive the vehicle with his left hand.
"Brown pulled Robyn F. close to him and bit her on her left ear. She was able to feel the vehicle swerving from right to left as Brown sped away. He stopped the vehicle ... and Robyn F. turned off the car, removed the key from the ignition and sat on it.
"Brown did not know what she did with the key and began punching her in the face and arms. He then placed her in a head lock positioning the front of her throat between his bicep and forearm. Brown began applying pressure to Robyn F.'s left and right carotid arteries, causing her to be unable to breathe and she began to lose consciousness.
"She reached up with her left hand and began attempting to gouge his eyes in an attempt to free herself. Brown bit her left ring and middle fingers and then released her. While Brown continued to punch her, she turned around and placed her back against the passenger door. She brought her knees to her chest, placed her feet against Brown's body and began pushing him away. Brown continued to punch her on the legs and feet, causing several contusions.

Couldn't of been to bad for her. They are back together in Miami. They were reported getting off the plane together when they arrived and spent time together at Puff Daddy's place (he will always be Puffy to me). Even jet skiing just off of Puffy's place. This all after posting $50,000 in bail.
Man, I just don't get people. Her or him especially!

And I hear she is back with this guy. What is wrong with people?
When I was in school, we went to court for a day to watch criminal trials. One had a man charged with attacking his girlfriend with a knife, through a door. At the time of the trial, she had taken the guy back, and at the end of the affair, they walked out of the court room, hand in hand. (I'm thinking now maybe it wasn't a trial, but a preliminary hearing or something...the rest still stands.)
These men that beat women are bad. But these women that continue to run back to them are complete ######s. I'm sorry, but they are.

These women take them back because women want DRAMA.
Have you ever wondered why "nice guys" always end up in the frienship zone...its because they are "nice" and for most western women NICE=BORING.
If you don't believe me go to any bar and see they ladies swoon over the thugs and jerks. THUGS=EXCITING. This is why male death row inmates get love letters from women they've never met.
The only way Rhianna will leave this guy is if he starts wearing sweaters and act like Dr. Huxtable from the Cosby Show.
Oh...by the way...I do NOT endorse violence against women or men.

I disagree with the last few statements. The women who go back to men who beat and abuse them likely have come from an abusive background. Most have big problems with low self esteem, and tend to think it's just the way men are.
The last girl I dated had some horror stories that she confined to me. I made a point of telling her that I loved her as much as possible because I thought she was a wonderful person, and was just dealt a ty hand in life. I know you can't change someone, but at least show them that there is someone out there who will love them unconditionally. What do you have to lose?

Officer Reyes? Wasn't she one of the corrupt officers in Gordon's unit that helped the Joker kidnap Harvey Dent and Rachael Dawes?

Took awhile but Rihanna admits she hates "nice guys" and loves "bad boys"
Definitely the high-risk (guys). I don’t like cream puff, corny guys. Usually they are the nice guys, the ones that won’t hurt you. They’ll pull out the chair for you and the whole nine yards. Everything is perfect and boring. “I like the risk, I like the edge. That’s the thrill for me.”

I like to pull chairs out for girls, just as they're about to sit in them. Then I laugh as they fall on their a$$ and finish it off by bashing them over the head with the chair wrestler style.
That bad enough for you Rhianna.
Now fetch me a sannwitch.

There will come a point in her life when she grows up and decides she's tired of being treated like garbage, pulls her head out of her butt, and decides to ditch the "bad boys" for a real man. (or "creampuff" as she puts it - lol - idiot)

How is Chris Brown a "bad boy?" Beating up chicks and writing cheezy pop songs constitutes as being "hard" these days? Back in my day, being a bad boy meant being a drug dealer, thief, gangster, "Likes to fight" guy, alcoholic, or all of the above. Damn kids these days.

And people were worried she would be offended by the Tiger/Elin skit on SNL when she was the musical guest?

What a loser. I hate to say it but now I don't even feel sorry for her that she got her ass kicked by Brown. Apparently she finds it sexy.
