When Brian Boitano was in the olympics,
Skating for the gold,
He did two sow cows and a triple lutz,
While wearing a blind fold.

Nah, probably fired a proton torpedo into his pants.

Lanny, Riser and another Flame I can't remember came through my drivethrough when I was a fast food manager back in '85 or so. I met Lanny again when I took my girlfriend's little brother bowling. He's so good with kids.
Dan Kepley
Bret Hart
Ronny King of the Stampeders (the band) was a good friend of a guy I worked for. God, he could tell stories.
Oh, yeah, a buddy and I had a good conversation with Marcus Nilson and Rhett Warrener in a bar during the '04 playoffs.

I've met a bunch of hockey players and celebs randomly but I can't say I really *knew* any of them on a fulltime basis. Closest would be Prevail from Swollen Members lived in the same building as I did last year so I'd always run into him. Super nice guy.

That's hillarious that you said that, because... yes. He was a big ######bag. He kept introducing himself to people as "Michael Furtado", obviously hoping that the last name would make him interesting... heh.
I also forgot to mention that I got to hang out with Bad Religion before. A friend of mine is a music promoter in Vancouver and is pretty good friends with the drummer.

I saw Ronnie the Limo Driver walking around Ricks Cabaret last summer. I wanted to yell "Scores Man! Got a Tattoo!", but I didn't want to seem like a nerd in front of my Russian entertainer.

My boyfriend in high school's mom was a movie producer or something, and one time when I was over there she brought home Chevy Chase for dinner..... hahaha.
I definitely haven't really met a lot of famous people though. Whenever I see one, I usually end up just gazing from afar...
Well, once my dad signed me up for some thing to go skiing with Kerrin Lee-Gartner (olympic medalist for downhill skiing), but I was really young and I'm pretty sure I was too mad at my dad for signing me up for that to realize that it might have been kinda cool.

Ran into Ian Laperriere at the grocery store the other day. Just kinda said hello.
Saw Shooter McGavin at O'hare airport. He was kind of a prick in real life too.

Fred Eaglesmith, Brad Park, John Prine, Chuck Brodsky.
Oh ya, and the guy who got arrested for getting drunk and crashing the Grey Cup parade with his red Ford half-ton back in the 1970s ... forget the exact year.
