I hate Direct Energy! (Rant)

Just got my Direct Energy bill for dec; $80 in distributor fees and $4.004/Gj for gas.

Can I get comparative rates from someone using Easymax floating so I can compare what I would be paying with Enmax?

I guess I shouldn't be so shocked at my bill since Dec was a really cold month......but still

I hate direct energy. The last guy who came to my door I asked if he'd cover the $500 cancellation charge from enmax. He didn't stick around too long after that.

Satisfied Easymax Customer here.

Gas Floating rate $3.42/GJ (nov 4 - nov 30)
$81.05 total gas portion, 33.38 in Energy charges = $47.97 in Facking Gas fees.

Fixed Electricity rate $0.08/KW.
We used 574kWh last month, up from roughly 300kWh/month average. The power cost $45.92, but with all the riders/charges/fees, the electricity portion rang in at $83.76. So, I guess Enmax charges about $38/month to administer my electricity.


What are you DE people paying for the separate admin fees?
