I am quite surprised with the hype this show gets on this board.
Barney is funny but the rest of the cast is blah. Ted = not funny.
I think Two and a Half Men is way better.

True, without Barney the show would have been cancelled already (probably). Thank got NPH is the last disciple.

I must admit i found the episode last night entirely unfunny. Actually Big Bang wasn't that good either. Fortunately House made up for both.

I dont mind Ted, he has his moments. I like when there s a really intimate moment between Marshall and Lilly for a minute or so and the the camera just switches to Ted sitting like 4 feet away "Guys...." Makes me laugh. Also Marshall is probably my favorite character with Barney at a close second. I find Jason Segel to be hilarious. And him combined with NPH is grounds for hilarity.

I just finished watching Season Two. While I liked the first season, I was much more into the second season. The Slap Bet episode killed me. When Barney hit Marshall three times in a row, I laughed until I cried and I cried until I couldn't breath.
I just bought Season three. I can't say I am looking forward to seeing Britney Spears though. I've seen clips of her on the show and wasn't impressed.
