I missed the show in the morning did they mention anything? I heard the original spreadsheet dave story and remember Mike Richards saying that a number of other emails came in the verify the incident. Not a good thing to happen and be mentioned two games in a row.

Yeah, no kidding, that was awesome! I remember the Ducks players were even laughing about it after. I can't remember what player, but I think it was the Ducks player who got hit by the guy, and he said something like..."I'm used to Canadian teams having that 7th man, but only in Calgary does the 7th man actually hit you".

I rarely agree with MMF, but I think its pretty ######ed too. If you want to bang on the glass, thats your prerogative, but bodychecking it? Thats where I draw the line.
I can also see there being a potential injury concern for both parties.

Agreed. I get the funny but to me it's more annoying than anything else.

Count me in the group of people that think that the guy who body checked the glass is hilarious. I can't remember did that get much press during the time?
Anyone know who the guy who did it is?
Also count me in the group who heckles people leaving the game early.
I got kicked out of the dome this year (for a reason I don't entirely agree with), but I managed to sneak back in, so it didn't really bother me.

More annoying is the guy on the cell-phone with his friend, who stands up every time the puck is in his corner, and waves to his friend on TV.

Same thing happened to us one year. Girls beside us were smoking in the 300's and during the break the usher told us that they found cigarette butts under our seats and tossed us out the smoke doors. So we walked around the building and in the other side. I thought it was hilarious, the usher didn't when we heckled him while leaving at the end of the game.

If it were up to me, and trust me I think it should be, anyone who either stands up or waves their arms during play to get on tv, especially while on a cell phone, should receive a 1 year ban from the dome.
I'm not even exaggerating, I really think people should be ejected for being that obnoxious. I've rarely sat in the lower bowl but on the few occasions that it has happened to me I was REALLY rude to the guy in front of me and told him to sit the eff down. I want to see the game not some ahole trying to get on tv.

I agree flip! Maybe not a 1 year ban but kick them out.
How is it okay to stand up in front of people, yet it's not okay to be loud. I was wondering and complaining about the Dome being so quite this year, I guess we all know why now.

It actually pisses me off, not only when I'm there and somebody tries to get on tv by standing up on the same side as the cameras and turns around and waves, but I actually yell and scream at my tv for those people to be ejected.
It seems to happen A LOT in Vancouver. Everytime I watch a game on tv that is in GM place I am frequently yelling at my tv wishing physical harm upon those who make me look at them instead of watching the game. I just can't help it, they are so distracting.
I wish they could find a way to treat it like streakers, don't put them on tv and they won't stand up, but then the camera angle would have to change and that might also comprimise my ability to watch the game.

I think they will go and be as loud as ever. Like Rosa Parks, they will not be intimidated into taking a 'lesser' seat. When FacePaint re-enters the dome tonight, cheering his head off, it will be a victory for global human and fan rights. Let the chips and ushers fall where they may. FacePaint will not be deterred in his quest to be super-fan.

FacePaint was sending out emails earlier this week to us guys going to the game tonight. It's retro night and he wants to spice up his attire. I have a sneaking suspicion that he'll be in fine form again. We won't let one little incident deter us.

The worst I recall seeing was Game 6 between Dallas and San Jose. Morrow knocked Michalek out with the big hit. While they were trying to get Michalek up, one fan behind the glass was on his cellphone and waving.

I'd bring a video camera, if you so happen to get the boot again, at least you can show KK.

I think that taking a video of the game is grounds for getting kicked out.
