I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

Yeah, I'm finding one of the most interesting things about these competitions to be seeing what people vote for and what they don't. There have been a number of pictures that I thought were great and didn't get any votes, and then some pictures that do get votes for them are shots where I don't see the magic other people do. I think this is a good way to be running things, and it's very interesting to see how varied people's tastes are and what pics are winning people over.

I agree Johnny. I'm always interested how so many people can see different things in a photo.

While it looks like the portrait theme has really slowed down so we will start the voting for round 1.

Voting for round 1 will end tomorrow at 12:00 MST.

Sweet man. I tried doing some paragliding in San Diego a few times, but each time the winds were bad. I dunno if I would have gone through with it in the end since I'm afraid of heights, but what an experience that would be.

^^^^^

Your grandfather has the palest of blue eyes, like my grandfather had.

And your grandmother has the palest of brown eyes.

Great photo.
