I know we played that game but for the life of me, I cannot recall what Cross Country Canada is!?!?!

Big two was pretty famous when I was in high school. I think my elementary school alot of us were more sports oriented so we played basic sports like soccer, touch football, teather ball, four square, dodge ball, california kick ball.
I think i've played heads up 7 up, the name sounds familar but for the life of me can't remember how to play.

Another great game was "football" played with a quarter on a table.
You have 3 or 4 downs (depending if its CFL or NFL), to nudge the quarter so it hangs off the edge of the table. Once it hangs off the edge, you have to flip the quarter up and catch it. Once you do this, its a touchdown. If you cant get it to hang off the edge or if you miss catching it after you flip it up you turn the ball over on downs.
After a touchdown, you spin the quarter on the table, catch it between your thumbs and launch it over the uprights which the other player forms with the thumbs and index fingers of his hands.
So awesome.

Loved that game. There is also hockey. You need three coins and you have to tap the furthest one back between the other two, over and over, all the way down the table until you're close enough to shoot. The net is the other guy's thumb and index finger on the table (if you can trust him not to move, otherwise tape something to the table). If you score, the other guy has to start from the very back of the table. If you miss, the other guy takes over from wherever you shot. When shooting, you're allowed to use your thumb.
