Wow, that was a horrible recollection.

Everyone will have their own personal choices, but I hate this song with an all-consuming passion. I've destroyed radios for playing it. Embedded an axe in one once.
Edit: Anything by Abba or The Village People is almost as bad.

Gotta agree wholeheartedly with you on this.
Also, since the season just passed, The Christmas Shoes!

#3 - "how bizarre" - ocm
#2 - "my humps" - black eyed peas
#1 - "hey baby (techno remix) - some jack***
there is a story to go with my #1. Some friends and I ventured up to siberia to watch a battle of alberta game. you may have remembered it as the one that Igor Ulanov lit up Kipper with two really terribly slap shots from the same place. We lost 6-5. They played this god awful song after he scored his second one that made me recoil in disgust. Ever since then I've noticed they play it all the time up there.
Anyways, story continues. We were houseboating this summer and one evening a boat-load of oiler fans pulled up beside us. I was talking with somebody from vancouver and I said "You know something that drives me insane about Edmonton? They play this god awful song during their hockey games all the time". I swear, not 15 minutes after this the boat load of oiler fans began a drinking game. The object of this game? Sing "heyyyyyyy heyyyy baby/ I want to knowwwwww/ would you be my girl?" at the top of their lungs and then take a drink. I **** you not, that was the game. They did it all bloody night. I fell asleep to it. Wrecked my night.
god i hate the oilers.

Wham! - The Wham Rap. Yes, this song actually exists. Sample lyrics:
Hey everybody take a look at me,
I've got street credibility,
I may not have a job,
But I have a good time,
With the boys that I meet "down on the line"
Most Foreigner songs.
Anything by Spooky Reuben.

That Rehab song by Amy Whinehouse. I was sitting in my truck at work, having quite the daydream, and this song had been playing for about 2 minutes and I hadn't really payed much attention to it, until I heard her say
"They tried to make me go to rehab! I said NO! NO! NO!"
one more time, then I snapped and punched my dash and shut the truck off. It's just a terrible song that gets stuck in your head, and now its stuck in my head.

I can understand why people don't like this song, but for me any track with Kate Pierson singing on it is automatically disqualified from being the worst song ever. The woman has an incredible voice.

Haha. 70's/80's music was the best. It's pretty much all I listen to.
I just can't believe all the crap that is being pumped out on the radio and TV today. New music is just awful beyond words.

There is a ton of great new music, you just have to put in the effort to find it

Maybe you're right. I think my opinion of new music has been tainted because of all the crapola they play on channels like Much Music. Pair that with the fact that my sister has the car radio permantly tuned Vibe 98.5, and it's not hard to see why it drives me insane.
