Boston Pizza is the only place I left $0 tip. Paid the bill right down to the penny. I waited around for the waitress to come pick it up, so I could look her in the eyes on my way out, but she couldn't even do that fast enough.

Naturally, I looked into the soup pot to see what's available. Suddenly, this lady with a lot of attitude tells me to stop and to never do that again while giving me this look like I'm some sort of criminal. I couldn't believe it. I asked her why aren't there signs available to tell me what the soups are, and she tells me in a very rude manner that they aren't ready yet. Ok...so why is there a sign that says "Now serving" then?

I can understand that there are some places that would rather serve you the soup instead of having you do it yourself, and that may be for sanitary reasons. However, she didn't ask me politely. She was rather rude.

I've decided that this place has lost my business for good.
THE soup nazi does exist!

Mr. Sub in the SW.

The little fugger there overcharged me. I knew he did and yet I sat there and allowed him to do it.

Thought it might have been a mistake so I went back about a week later and the guy did it again - this time I called him on it though.

Needless to say I have not been back.

I did that one time at Limericks.

Waitress had billed us for about 4 too many beers.

After we argued about it we paid the bill to the penny...No tip.

Surprisingly we were cut off from bar service after that......

Another place to add to my list I guess.............

no sorry, I had two bad experiences with their sandwhiches. The first time I ever had one, I always said I didnt like them. Something was wrong with the meat. Eventually I decided to give them another chance, but again the sandwhich didnt taste good.
I would however get a donut or coffee from them, but Im not a coffee drinker and I rarely have a craving for a donut.
Anyways I edited my OP so hopefully its more clear. (probably not )

Dairy Queen because of their ads from a while back. The ones with the two stoned teenagers. Just so stupid.

Arbys because my friend got a sandwich that had a bandaid in it. And when he tried to return it they accused him of putting it thier.

I'll think of more I am sure.

I was driving south on 36th St. NE, and a cop pulls me over cause my plate was dirty and he couldn't see the stickers. Meanwhile it's about 30 degees outside as I pull into a MAC's parking lot on the corner. While I'm sitting there debating the merits of him pulling me over, a helpful mac's employee runs out and and cheerfully points out that not only must I have broken the law, but that my car has started to overflow antifreeze.... He proceeds to stand there like he just rescued a cat from a tree, while the cop and I look at him in kind of a dumb silence.. I never did get a ticket outta it, but I did give the clerk the finger and checked that shop of my list...

Anyone ever consider boycotting the Flames because of Steve Strachan?

310-DUMP (Rubbish Express). I worked there for a year or two and then got a ticket while driving there truck for not having an updated insurance card in there. The manager never gave the new one to me so I demanded the company pay the ticket. The owner (who is an absolute prick) refused. Needless to say I quit on the spot.

The reason why noone should use the company is because the employees are taught to over quote jobs. Their prices are too high to begin with. Lastly, they advertise as "Student Junk Removal", but in reality, no students work there. The reason they do that is because often people would prefer to use this company to "help out those poor students". It works and it makes me sick.

Use 266-JUNK. Trust me.

Petro Canada, because they wouldn't approve me for a gas card with a hundred dollar limit.

Every electronics/ game retailer has that same policy. Do you really think its Staples fault that there wasn't a key in it? I dont see why you would hold them responsible.

McDonald's and Mrs Vanilli's Pizza

Too many bad experiances with service and horrid food at Micky D's.

Mrs Vanilli's gave me food poisioning during a hockey tournament, and we ended up losing in the final. Having the best goaltending stats going into the final, I'm sure I wouldn't have given up 9 weak goals like the other goalie. I don't blame the team for the loss, I blame the pizza joint.

Melrose sucks, sucks, sucks. The service there took a massive nosedive after the Flames playoff run. The last time I was there they forgot about my table, and everybody after me got served. I didn't even get the drink I ordered. But they don't care anymore because they're uber-busy now.

Haha I did the same thing at the BPs on mcleod by the london tower. My ex gf and I would go there all the time and receive awesome service and would tip very well... One night we got a waitress taht probably figured that seh was in for a big tip, but just didn't bother earning it.

Theres something about having to wait for the waitress to ask if she can get you another drink while you're one of two or three tables in the place, and she's chatting up the bartender.

NO TIP FOR YOU!!

Yeah they are brutal. The estimate they told me on the phone was nothing like what the moron said when he got here. It more than double so I told them to get lost.

Incidentally, if you need an old appliance carted off there is a number in the classifieds of the Herald for a guy who will come get it for 40 bucks.

Silverhill Acura.
They F'ed around with my girlfriend when she had bought her car there, salesperson was a dick (post-sale of course), general manager didn't want to have anything to do with her (it was 'only a CSX' afterall) and they continually tried to give her a "new" car that had scratches all over the body.
All a bunch of ######s at that dealership, and funny thing is it is almost time to get a new car for the both of us now, and if we had good service from there, the TL would have been an easy choice.
But now we are looking at the Infinity G35x or Lexus is250 instead.
**** Silverhill Acura.

This stupid little chinese place here in McKenzie Towne ... the Jade China Inn. We ordered food for them once ... after an hour we were told it was being delivered as we speak ... 30 minutes later still no food, we call back and are told that the food is just leaving now. It gets to our house finally and it's the wrong food. I phone them and tell them this is the case and we don't want it any more ... and they proceed to tell me that I must have ordered the wrong food. What?

I'm not big on Wal-Mart many due to political/philosophical reasons but will be the first to admit it's a bit hypocritical because I buy products from other companies that are not exactly morally pure.

The dry cleaners inside Superstore near on Country Hills Blvd/Sarcee Tr -- I was doing groceries after work and I figured I'd pick up my drycleaning...I got to the counter and attempted to give my ticket, only to get yelled by the guy behind the counter that they're closed...Of course, there is no sign saying "Closed" and there are two people behind the counter...I guess I need to be a mind reader to take my dry cleaning there...

A&B sound. This one guy in their CD department gave me attitude once since I listened to a certain CD and then didn't buy it. It's not that he cared about opening the CD, but he was mad because he liked the band, and I didn't think the album was good. He gave me some smart ass comment about buying Nickelback instead.
I also had a disasterous experience with an extended warrenty on a TV with them. That was the final straw and they will never see a pennie of mine again.

I'm suprised about people who don't like pay shopping carts or places that charge for plastic bags.
Those are 2 of my favorite things in retail. The shopping cart thing costs you nothing and is just a common sense solution to messy parking lots. Compare a Superstore parking lot with a Zellers and think of how many parking stalls at Zellers have carts in the way where you want to park.

The plastic bag thing is for environmental reasons and has nothing to do with making more money. I applaud any company who cares enough to do it. Is it really that hard to save you plastic bags and bring them with you next time you go shopping?

It's amazing that people care so much about saving 3 cents, but don't care 1 bit about saving the environment.

Ikea is going to charge for bags soon. They predict they can cut plastic bag use in half within 1 year and are even lowering the price of their reusable blue bags. Again, THIS IS NOT ABOUT TAKING YOUR MONEY
